Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Oh, my goodness. I almost cannot believe it. We had a warm spell a few weeks ago and of course the buds just had to start coming. Then the cold hit again and we were freezing. Nevertheless, spring is going to come! I just know it. This morning I noticed that the buds on the trees were just the tiniest bit bigger. At the temple the trees that were totally barren have this tinge of red and the forsythia is trying to burst forth. Wow! March 18, 2009 at 6:20 AM.

Tuesday, November 18, 2008. The Work is Almost Over and the Rewards are Great. Here we are in the front entry, see my new door! To the right is the music room, complete with new paint, carpet, french doors and a beautiful painting. To the left is the dining room, I recovered the chairs. Sunday, May 9, 2010. Don't cry for me Argentina. I just spent a week in Argentina! I know that now I am home they won't cry for me but I couldn't resist. I went to visit a dear, sweet, wonderful friend and I miss her already. Thanks for putting up with a sidekick for the week. Here are some pics of the trip. At a tango show weren't allowed to take pictures so this is what you get to see. None of these logs were tied down, it made us a bit nervous! At La Boca (the birth place of Tango). How fun for you.

Friday, January 8, 2010. When I was younger one of the best days would be to wake up for school and discover it had snowed and it was enough for a snow day. I would climb back in to my warm bed and sleep a couple more hours. Maybe a little but these disappointing not. Snow days always bring an unexpected break and there is nothing to stop us from making a nice warm breakfast like chocolate pancakes with chocolate syrup and sipping hot cocoa.
