Community Service has always been a major part of my life since my college days. It is something that my husband and I continue to do and we teach our children. As a family we have participated in many projects together. Below are just a few I’d like to highlight. Since 2009, my family has held a team every year for Crohn’s and Colitis. Spring 2013, my oldest son participated and raised $312 on his own for St. Jude’s Hospital. No Kid Hungry Pledge. Houston Restaurant Weeks 2015. 8216; site on July 15.

Monday, September 23, 2013. I started this post about 20 times over the past month but kept deleting it and just leaving it in my drafts. I haven't felt like blogging much the past couple weeks and I also wasn't sure if I really even wanted to post about this. I am not sharing this really looking for advice, but just to document this stage of my life and how I've been feeling. What if he stops breathing in the middle of the night? What if someone holding him drops him? So, squeeze your kids a little tigh...

Pure Imajennation: August 2012

Tuesday, August 28, 2012. After a quick trip (too quick in my opinion) to California for camping, I'm happy to be back at home-sweet-home with the boyfriend and cats in hot, humid Houston. The trip was fantastic and so much fun. Even though I was only there for 4 days, I made sure to get my fill of family, photography, food and fun. She said back in the day when camping was cheap, her and her family would go camping for 3 weeks at a time! We try to get the same premium spot at Sly Park right on Jenkinson...

On the path to a healthier me! 8230;through Paleo and Pilates. August 22, 2016. A few things may have snuck in inadvertently due to eating out but I’m trying! I hardly lost any weight this past week (0.2 lbs) but it wasn’t a gain either. I’ve adjusted my snacking habits and am slowly adjusting to this new way of life. Just this past week alone I’ve avoided birthday cake (red velvet and strawberry), donuts, chips and queso, buttery garlic bread rolls and Mexican coke. Some habits I have changed:. I also s...
