Sunday, May 17, 2009. I meant to post this Friday but totally forgot. I was valedictorian and my friend Patrick Russell was salutatorian. Hanging with the Haynes. Sunday, May 8, 2011. I can breathe again for a little bit. And I'm glad that we will be able to bring Ava home to her beautiful nursery. In other news.If you are reading this, I guess it's evident that I have made it to 38 weeks! Short cervix and all.This pregnancy has been pretty easy for the most part, and I am thankful for that. Just for the sake of it, I'm going to do a Pregnancy Highlights-so I can remember this time. How Far Along: 38 weeks and 1 day. And the list goes on.

You would think with three and a half snow days last week that I would have updated the blog a lot sooner than right before going back to work on Sunday night.but I didn't. I was, however, more productive in other areas that needed attention around our home. I went in that Monday and they determined my cervix hadn't changed any, so that was good news! On a side note- If I get put on full bed rest, I'm not sure Trent's going to be able to handle it! Thursday, April 15, 2010. Every single year, a map is placed in the hallway of the LSU Veterinary school. The senior students' names are typed on a piece of paper and tacked to the side of the map. Then we come along and move our name to the city in which we'll be working or interning for the next year. I've waited to do this for the last 4 years! Monday, March 30, 2009. Alltel (Verizon) had quite a few layoffs today. This is to be expected as it's what always happens after a merge but one of the ones today left me a little unnerved! My supervisor, Wayne Sluder, got let go. No one told us who we report to now - I'm assuming it's his boss which is fine but it's really weird that he's gone.
