Mandag den 26. september 2011. Så har FarFar fået kølen på igen, efter godt to år uden. Abonner på: Kommentarer til indlægget (Atom). Vis hele min profil. At ombygge en 606´er til noget mere simpelt! En 606´er er en 20 fods kølbåd. Projektet går ud på at lave en båd der er meget simpel. Den første Dansker der gjorde dette er den legendariske bådkonstruktør Georg Berg, der i Juni 1954 konstruerede "Ole"-Båden, som han selv sejlede i til han var godt 80 år. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. So today after work I decided to try and add some weight to my bulb, by pouring between the two halves. I had read on one of the other blogs where they sealed between the two halves with aluminum duct tape, and I figured I could do something like that. Montag, 2. Mai 2011. Winter is over . Winter is officially over since the beginning of April. Now that we enter Mai, I think it is time to update the blog. 1) Winter was hard, lots of snow (sometimes at least :-) ) and I lost my shipyard tent because of too much snow in one night :-(. The sight of the caved in tent was too hard to look upon, so I didn't take pictures. This was taken after we cleaned up the mess and before we put up the new one. I got the idea on i550.org). Now the fun can start . :-).

Tuesday, February 5, 2013. As you can see, I've been busy! Right now I'm glassing the deck, the cockpit's in, and the cabin top is glassed on. I've realized I have some more filleting and taping to do, but it's on the inside now, taping the bulkheads to the cabin top. It never end it seems! That white spot on the lower right is the famous hollow spot some of us have, I've been filling it with my left over filleting material. February 26, 2014 at 12:05 AM. Once I started cutting the frames and found them to bend under the strain of the hull, I decided to have my frames with at least 12mm [1/2"] thickness (in some places with 24mm [1"] and/or fiber glass reinforcement).
