Fredag den 25. juni 2010. It's time to go, we are ready. Yesterday, Thursday, we pitched tent for the first time, these anyway, two new ones from Fjallraven - two tents, each for four people. Friday was spent preparing the last details. Breakfast was bought, muesli in different varieties. Every evening meal will consist of 4 - 5 bags of freeze dried food aditional rice and pasta. Tirsdag den 6. juli 2010. Day 3, the rock climb, passing 682 meters. We left the second campsite at around 9.30 am. From the site we pass the next two minor lakes to the right. There is a relatively easy rise up along a an old moraine, up another 50 meters. From there on we had to climb a huge area of large boulders. Pt er en Nigel Dennis Explorer på vej fra Wales, men er endnu ikke dukket op her i Nuuk. Dagens gerninger på vandet var en opfølgning på et sikkerhedskursus og rullevendekursus sidste år, og jeg fik en-til-en undervisning af Ole fra SULA Adventure. Når man boet et sted som Uummannaq gennem flere år, og får mulighed for at gense området er lyden af en Bell 212 der flyver fra Qaarsut med kurs mod Uummannaq en lyd af at være tilbage. Når midnatssolen fejer ud over fjorden, fra Storøen i øst til Qilertinnguit i vest, isterninger flyder langsomt ud mod fjordmundingen, sænker roen sig over sindet.
