If you watch children play, you will notice that they create games, characters, situations, whole worlds in which they immerse themselves with intense concentration. For the theory portion of this thesis I studied two sets of guidelines for crafting optimal experiences, flow and enchantment. For each point, I looked at relevance to games and, if appropriate, specific techniques and applications. It is important not to create an artificial dichotomy between these two theories. They are.

Worked with Fox Digital Entertainment, with the show writers at Fuzzy Door, and across all disciplines at TinyCo to realize the brand, from aesthetics to mechanics.
