Parabola / Tape worm's Blog: Scouting Caches
http://parabolasblog.blogspot.com/2010/01/scouting-caches.html
Parabola / Tape worm's Blog. Monday, January 25, 2010. Well, it's going pretty good so far. This is quite a neat scouting project participating in the 100th year Anniversary. I'm a little behind where I wanted to be at this point but it's going well. The cold and the snow has made it a bit tricky. So far I've made the hide's themselves pretty easy to find and nothing tricky. Some of them are quite a hike, but sound's by the log's people have enjoyed them. Hope you guy's enjoy them,. Parabola / Tape worm's Blog: It's been awhile
http://parabolasblog.blogspot.com/2010/03/its-been-awhile.html
Parabola / Tape worm's Blog. Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Well, 'm almost hesitant to even post this but I know a lot of the family follows this. What I though was just a sleeping pill they had pescribed, was really an anti-depressant/tranquilizer. Which I know now you are only to be on them for a short amount of time, which I was on that one for around 5 years. So trying to get off of it, has been a scary process. But that's what I've been up to for the past few weeks. March 15, 2010 at 8:34 PM.

Wanderings: Revisiting Rue Anemone
http://juliecache.blogspot.com/2014/04/revisiting-rue-anemone.html
Wednesday, April 23, 2014. 100 Species Challenge #51 Rue Anemone. You might remember a post from a few years back. When I couldn't tell if I had seen Rue Anemone. I had the same experience over the weekend. Have a look below. All the (pink) flowers had a different number of petals. I then found a good comparison chart at Iowa Plants. I need to take a closer look. I think growing in an umbel seems to be the best indicator. What do you think? Labels: 100 species challenge. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Mt Timp, again | Walking Wally
https://walkingwally.wordpress.com/2009/07/29/mt-timp-again
Mt Timp, again. July 29, 2009 in Hiking. This year, we went up Mt Timp, but with our 5 year old son (from the flatlands like we are) walking, and the baby (9 months) riding on my back. We got as far as the first fall, with him complaining the whole way, and ended up deciding to turn back. I don’t know. Anyway, I could certainly have hiked faster and longer, but the little one was not happy about having to walk uphill. Also, despite our directions, he stepped into the deepest parts of the stream cross...

Star Hill Inn, NM. July 15, 2007 in Hiking. July 14: Mt Timpanogos, Alpine Trail, Technical and Photos. July 15, 2006 in Hiking. 8211; Mt Timpanogos. 8211; Starting out. It was chilly at 6 or so. The first falls. Less than a mile in. Lots more water than we’ve seen in years past. The trail is gravel and asphalt up through the second falls. 8211; The trail right after the second falls turns to dirt (which I prefer) and features sections that are rocky like this. 8211; Some of the snowfields we passed.

Two more in the ‘hood | Walking Wally
https://walkingwally.wordpress.com/2009/08/02/two-more-in-the-hood
Two more in the ‘hood. August 2, 2009 in Geocaching. Today we found GC1739N (One good bridge…) and were quite stoked because it was listed as 2.5 stars in difficulty and we found it almost immediately. Gratifying to know that we are not incapable of finding urban caches after all. Comments feed for this article. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Happily Ever After | Walking Wally
https://walkingwally.wordpress.com/2010/08/16/happily-ever-after
August 16, 2010 in Uncategorized. We found the Happily Ever After cache in SE Des Moines on Sunday, and finally dropped off one of the Geocoins we’ve been hanging on to. Rio’s Replacement Geocoin is now located in the cache for someone else to find. We tried to find Webb’s RV Park cache again, and no luck, again. We suck, apparently! Comments feed for this article.
