Quite a bit has been on my heart lately and I guess it's time I share with the blogging world. I'm sitting here monitoring a test for my residents, so I'm out of my office, done with all my paperwork, and just sitting in silence, thinking. I decided it was as good a time as any to get my thoughts out. So, I had an apiphany (sp? You are 100% pregnant! Well, lots of thin...

Hopefully this will be a good way to keep in touch with friends and family.as long as I can keep it up to date! Friday, August 6, 2010. Well, tomorrow is our 6 year anniversary! I can't believe it's already been 6 years! So, we'll start our day with that and we'll probably end it by having a nice dinner and relaxing at the house. Our present to ourselves was The Complete First Season of Glee! We love it- actually was I supposed to say WE? I guess I did though, didn't I? Happy 6 year Anniversary Jarred!

Thursday, October 15, 2009. Why don't you wake up in the morning and go 'Oh my God, everything works the way it's supposed to"? What kind of a fool does that? How messed up is that guy? What a complete tool I can be sometimes. (most of the time). God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Great sermon series. I just started listening to this one myself. 10/16/09, 6:11 AM. Thanks for sharing this with us brother I have been truely blessed. I enjoy your blog. Keep up the great work Alan! 11/3/09, 6:09 AM.

Friday, November 13, 2009. This is a great time of year. Around now, Krisi has this pumpkin spice kind of lotion/perfume whatever that she wears. I can have the worst day in the history of bad days or I can be in the worst grumpy mood but when that scent finds my olfactories, the world is just right. Hmm. Excellent. joie de vivre: Kansas City Vacation
http://mattandrachelwilson.blogspot.com/2015/08/kansas-city-vacation.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. This year we decided to take the kids to Kansas City for vacation. As close as it is to us, we've never been and it seemed like there would be a lot to do for the kids. This was the first "real" family vacation we've taken in a long time and it was so much fun! We are already talking about what we want to do next year. :) Matt and I really want the kids to see as much of our country as we can, so our list of sights to see in the upcoming years is pretty long! I told the kids th...

joie de vivre: September 2014
http://mattandrachelwilson.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2014. For Labor Day weekend this year, we made the rounds and visited both of our families. We got the kids a little early from school on Friday and headed to Little Rock. As much as we love our families I think we were all most excited to see Cormac! We mostly just chilled at the house. The guys watched the game on Saturday and my mom cooked yummy food. All my kids love Mimi's tub. It's huge. And, it's even better when you get to take a bath with Cormac like Charlotte did. The g...

Monday, August 31, 2009. Avery's almost 8 months old. I haven't written much about her on here for a number of reasons, but I plan to keep a pretty regular updating schedule from this point forward (not always about the kid but she'll have her share of the spotlight.). If you get a chance. That's all for now. How about some pictures of the kid? She is absolutely precious Alan. I have so enjoyed seeing pictures on Facebook of Avery with Mark. Your mom looks so happy. 9/2/09, 12:29 PM. So Stinkin. Cute.

http://mattandrachelwilson.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 18, 2015. The {last} Night Before Kindergarten. But, I'm still not ready. Tonight I am sitting here wondering (again) where the time has gone? Not every day was an easy one or even a good one; there were some hard, hard days when Charlotte was a baby that I wondered if I would every have a moment alone. And, now I'm staring down days. Alone There were moments when I would lay in bed at night and think, "for the first time all day, no one is touching me, or talking to me.". I really have n...

Matt and Lana Anniversary Ticker. Wednesday, December 10, 2014. A Few Christmas Activities 2014. Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. This year has been extra special so far. Shelby and I have been very busy enjoying the season. Here are a few snap shots. Waiting for Santa to arrive at PV. One would think this was exciting. But Shelby did not like Santa. Loved the helicopter, not Santa. Decorating our felt tree- thank you, Pinterest. Adding her own little flare to my new wreath. You also l...
The Summitt Family: October 2014
http://summittfamily.blogspot.com/2014/10
Matt and Lana Anniversary Ticker. Monday, October 20, 2014. We made our annual trip to Bo Brook Farm Pumpkin Patch yesterday! Last year was really sweet, but Shelby was 9 months old so we just kind of stuck her in front of the pumpkins for pictures. She wasn't able to really know what was going on around her. This year, oh my goodness, did she have fun! Here are some pictures from the afternoon. Riding with Weston in the wagon. Sprinting to the giant hay pyramid. Climbing like a big girl to the tippy top!

We spend a lot of time in Prague and for good reason - it is a magical city with a vibrant soul - a soul which happens to be underpinned by some of the best beer and food on the planet. Many of you have asked to meet us there one day so that you too can experience Prague - and what better opportunity than to celebrate our wedding to boot. So pack your bags . The City of Prague.

The secret to having it all is believing you already do. Monday, April 21, 2014. Our Adventures in Arches. So we were really excited; it's been a really long time since we actually had a vacation besides visiting family. So we set off with our minivan packed to the gills. We were sick of driving when we got there, but our friends were headed off to hike, so we had to drive a little longer to get to the trail. The view was breathtaking. We stopped for a rest halfway up. In the pictures the arch looks huge...

Our Journey Through Life Together. Sunday, September 28, 2014. The time comes when you sit at your kitchen table and you look around and you go what the hell. As i sit here and look at my kitchen and notice all the dirty dishes, and now the dishes my 2 year old has taken out all the dishes she could possibly reach and place them all over the floor . ugh i think to myself. Now i have company, my brother in law who I'm sure doesn't care or even notice, but hey to me its a big deal. I thought to myself i wo...
Living the Kohl Life
Monday, May 9, 2011. I don't know if this is a typical reaction that a baby has when they first start laughing, but it was pretty funny. He doesn't do it as much any more but for a while there he would just look around and try to figure out when in the world was going on after he laughed. Oh and then there is the funness of back aching. The more tired he gets the more back arching is involved. I am really not sure why babies do this. perhaps his thoughts are something along these lines. Then I had a baby...

Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Take me out to the ballgame! Here he is with his sock in his mouth and a rawhide that he stole from Napoleoan. Luckily, Napoleon remembered that he has six more of them hidden under the bed, where Charlie does not know to look. Mommy and Charlie with Turner Field in the background. Sitting on top of the "Dale Murphy #3" at Turner Field in Atlanta. This was also Matthew's first trip to a baseball game. The boys had a great time! Not much more to report.
