John and Sheila BLOG. Is it about a bicycle? Mostly, but sometimes other things, some with a bicycle connection and others with none. We live and work (unpaid now we are retired) in Lymington beside the Solent on the southern edge of the New Forest. Quite a lot of our recreational time was spent walking, locally in and around the New Forest but also climbing into the hills, scrambling along ridges and reaching mountain summits. THE PRESTON-COMERFORD FAMILY
It has been an interesting year for us, full of change and adventure. John is deeply involved in his doctoral studies here in Cambridge (UK), where we have spent the last three months. Although we supposedly speak the same language (and the weather is similar), life in Cambridge is quite different than life in Seattle. Between language differences and accents, sorry and brilliant have become the words of the day.
