Learning German. I don't know quite how to describe what it has been like. Some combination of surreal, exhausting, exciting, facinating, tedious and overwhelming. Yep, we're still here! We just got a DSL connection in our apartment this week after a LOT of effort and phone calls with Deutsche telekom. A friend here stepped in at a couple points and her final call led to the discovery that "inexplicably" a DSL port had suddenly become available in our building. :) Thank you God! This weekend we're playing catch up - emails, blogging :), etc. It will be good to be able to respond a little more quickly to some things and not get to that place where we feel buried.

Zac is 22 months, he'll be two September 1st, and Ty is 3 months. Uncle Rick's Burial and Memorial. Jeremy's uncle passed away last Wednesday, and yesterday was his burial and memorial service. Uncle Rick was Phil's brother, and lived in Gresham with his wife, Aunt Betty Jo. He will be sorely missed! Just a few pictures, a snapshot of the day.
