This linoleum block print was made from a classroom study I did of a nude model. Her name is Elizabeth Claret and sometimes goes by the stage-name "Jade Elizabeth". I had dozens of drawings from life of her and selected one to carve into this lino print. Elizabeth is also the model for "Tragic Iraqi Woman" elsewhere on this site. The Abduction of Hippodamia" .

Friday, 21 April 2017. We are back after a (long) break from the blog…. Well what has happened since? Windows 10 has arrived with great fanfare and it is solid now after a shaky start. Did you have many problems with Microsoft Edge? Windows XP was and is still a great operating system. And, what about Apple’s macOS? Well, I have been converted! I hear you all say in chorus, yes, I was converted but I still have most of my machines running on Windows 10. Why do I like Apple macOS? So, where to from here?
