The Johnson Family Homesteading Journal. April 4, 2015. I mentioned our hoop house in our last post. Here’s a picture of it before I put the plastic over the length of it. Here I had to take a few day break waiting for my clips to come. I ordered them off of greenhousemegastore.com for .61 a piece. They are 4″ long and just snap on over the plastic onto your pvc. They seem to be working great. He’s a picture of the finished product. More to come soon. Thanks for checking up on us. Enter your comment here.

May 16, 2015. Esther’s kits next to my lupines and mint. Well my girls came through. Esther kindled nine bunnies and Tuna kindled ten. That’s what you call a twenty-nine rabbit long weekend. Esther’s kits had already arrived when I went in to check this morning. She had a combination of half light ginger kits and half what looks to me like black otter. I can’t wait to see how they turn out. As usual she pulled enough fur to line a hot tub. One of Esther’s ginger kits. This entry was posted in rabbits.

Whirl'd Works Farm. A small homestead farm in Central Texas. April 7, 2015. Farm and Homestead Update April 2015. I have discovered that it can be very difficult to document the many activities that go on around the farm, even when there isn’t really a farm yet. I have found, through the sweat of my own brow, that our President was certainly not speaking about farms when he declared, “You didn’t build that! The Barn is at a stage that we shall call complete! The barn is complete! Inside the new barn.
