Things went pretty well, but I definitely need to get better at Spanish PRONTO! It's amazing how much you need to speak when you're the teacher. Posted by Jon and Allison at 6:22 PM. Thanks for the new posts! Dan and I will be checking in often. Abe was great fixing our computer! Great job on your run.whew!

Jon and Allison: Thanksgiving 2008
http://jonandallison.blogspot.com/2008/11/thanksgiving-2008.html
Saturday, November 29, 2008:. This week we celebrated Thanksgiving with some friends and family. My sisters, Erin and Jessica, drove up from the L.A. area on Wednesday morning. Erin and Jessica stayed in town until Saturday morning so we also had time to hike "The Dish" (a hike on Stanford's campus that leads up to a huge WWII era satellite dish on top of a hill) and also to make a few Starbuck's runs. We had a great time enjoying the many blessings we have in our lives.

Monday, September 29, 2008:. This weekend we got to return to Seattle for the first time since moving to Palo Alto. We had two sets of friends getting married in Seattle this weekend so we decided to make the trek back up north. Our friends Melanie and Jerry graciously took Bota to their home in Millbrae for the weekend so we could go up there. Our plane left Friday after school and we returned late Sunday night. Posted by Jon and Allison at 12:53 PM. I'm so glad you got to make the trip!

Sunday, November 23, 2008:. Academy of Science Museum.or should I say the "Crowds and Lines Museum"? This weekend was a little more relaxing than most because Jon gets all of next week off for Thanksgiving. Without the time crunch to get all of his studying and assignments out of the way early in the week, we had some extra time to hang out. Posted by Jon and Allison at 5:43 PM.

Jon and Allison: Making Friends
http://jonandallison.blogspot.com/2008/10/making-friends.html
Sunday, October 12, 2008:. Jon and I are starting to meet some new friends down here in Palo Alto.an especially good thing for me now that Jon is fully immersed in school! Jon has made a good group of friends at school in his study group. The people from his group are from all over the world so we want to have them over soon for a good 'ol American pizza dinner. I know that technically pizza isn't American, but we certainly eat more pizza than any other single thing! Posted by Jon and Allison at 7:19 PM.
