Friday, March 12, 2010. Slim in 6 Update. Okay it's been about a week since we finished the 6 week exercising program. We tried to start another program with Jullian Michaels, but found ourselves going right back to Slim in 6. We're just hooked and it is REALLY working! Mr Niu has lost a total of 30 pounds. Friday, January 22, 2010. Healthy Recipes and A New Blog. About 300 calories and 10 or 15 grams of fat per serving. and of course they need to be easy and fast. I work 10 hour days and by the time I get home I'm exhausted. Although I wish I had more time in the kitchen, it helps to make meals quick and to always have leftovers for lunch the next day. My mom, sisters, and I have created a new blog,. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 tablespoon cider vinegar. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1/2 lemon, juiced.

Tuesday, July 26, 2011. I know I am a slacker this summer. Ok, yes we are still alive and kicking! Speaking of 4th of July, we had such a wonderful time at the Mounts! We got to see fireworks, eat lots of good food, and see some questionable dance moves (j/k! Here are some pictures from around that time. Dresden loves to put Daddy's hats on. And he also loves messing up my phone. The other day he had sent and email, a text, and changed my background picture! This kid is too smart for my own good. :).

Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Dresden had his 18 month checkup today. Here is how he measured up:. Weight - 27 lbs 50-55%. Height - 34 ins 85-90%. Head Circ - 49 cm. So he is still doing well and still growing! As he has a few words he now says once says, "Hi", "up", "apple" and "purple", he still babbles and babbles away. The doctor called this "advanced jargon". It has a name! Up the tractor steps. And down the tractor steps. Up the house stairs. And down the stairs. And stop to wash the dishes.

It is crazy when you get to that point in your pregnancy where you have way less time til you have the baby then you do to not. So as of today I am 30 weeks =) I have 10 to go, or 70 days. Obviously, I really take this counting down seriously. I am feeling pretty good. I have not thrown up in probably a month and a half, which is wonderful! More to come soon =).

Thursday, December 9, 2010. Dresden's and Josh's Bday Party. On Sunday we had a family dinner/birthday party for Josh and Dresden. Everyone really pitched in and helped make some wonderful food. Josh's parents also were so kind in letting us use their house. Heaven forbid if we tried to fit and feed that many people in our house, we would be bursting! Kattie got some great pictures of Dresden opening his presents. I think regardless of the camera, Josh and I are cursed when it comes to picture taking.

Tuesday, August 16, 2011. 39 weeks and due this coming Sunday, August 21st! I can't believe how quickly time has flown by. Everything is looking great! The docs are really impressed with my progress, my health and the health of Baby Niu. Jon has been my angel throughout the pregnancy. He is kind and understanding. He is more excited than anyone for our little guy to join our family. Jon was just hired by a metal company to be their graphic/web designer for advertising and marketing! Jon and Mindy Niu.
