Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Ever since my accident I have been trying to get a hold of the insurance to tell my side of the story. I've called all different hours and almost everyday leaving messages but never got a human nor any call back. So the previous plans of have the car looked at and possible fixed this last weekend didn't happen. Instead Jon and I had some smaller activities to enjoy time together. Wednesday, October 03, 2007. I can't believe how fast September went by! At the first course. At the second course. Don't ask me how the winner gets this treatment). We had planned to spend some time in the historic downtown the first day but had run out of time. Our hotel for the couple days was actually just a couple blocks away so we did walk around near the historic area for a bit the first day and had hoped to come back the morning we would be checking out of the hotel. Wednesday, January 2, 2008. I know by now most have seen or heard about our cruise by I thought I would finish the story. Each night we found a new towel animal on our bed. Monday we were at Cabo San Lucas. Took a jeep ride to the outback or that is what it felt like. Visited a school there were the children had to board for the week. Had lunch with the kids. Sunday, August 10, 2008. Long Tme Since I Blogged. It is now garden season. Today was spent canning beans and salsa. Cleaning cauliflower, cucumbers, raspberries, and strawberries. Sure do appreciate it come winter. I made dill pickles and gave them to our pastor's daughter as an apartment moving in gift. She was thrilled. Does anyone else need pickles? I thought I would up date the blog- -not that there is much going on in our lives. Dad and I did send a night in Fargo so we could go the the Home and Garden show. Yes it is winter time in ND and I think it has been for too long this winter. There is more than enough snow and I think the cold has been around for some time. The snow is about 1/2 way up the sides for Dad's green house on both sides. He is hoping that it doesn't hurt the green house. It has been zero and below for most of January and February. Thursday, April 3, 2008. Spring maybe arrived today. It finally got up to about 50 today. It hasn't snowed or rained this week. The snow that was as tall as the Juneberry bushes in now about 1/2 as tall. There should be plenty of water in the garden to start with. Dad has started the tomatoes. They are now growing under lights over in Grandma's sun porch. Monday and Tuesday I at a State Library Workshop. I learned some new things that will maybe help save the library some money. The docs are really impressed with my progress, my health and the health of Baby Niu. Jon has been my angel throughout the pregnancy. He is kind and understanding.
