Psalms 116:15 says “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints”. As much as we love Nona, I know the Lord loves her more and has prepared a place for her to spend eternity. I find comfort in knowing that the love she gave to us lives on as we love the people in our lives and will continue on for generations to come.

I immediately realized this is why I had such a hard time adjusting to the idea of it but I'm so happy and grateful for this little life! And I look at this and I'm not so scared. Then I think of all the stages in her life that I will be a part of. Will I give my daughter a haircut that makes her look like a boy? Will she choose good boys to date? She looks so young!
