http://josieresearchstage5.blogspot.com/2011/09/star-trails.html
Josie Cosgrove - Research Development. Saturday, September 17, 2011. As part of my Fusion Video, I want to include a photograph and a time lapse of star trails. I have done some research into the best methods of getting good star trails, and it seems like the 3 hour mark is the best time to get adequate trails without having to wait around all night. 291, 30 second stacked exposures. 500, 30 second stacked exposures. 360, 30 second stacked exposures. 3 hour, single exposure. 3 hours, single exposure.

Presntation methods - week 5 - Hero. This is a photo of my hero, my dad. I'm not going to go too far into it, but this photo doesn't make sense without a little bit of explanation. My dad was diagnosed with MS about 6 years ago, it started off with him losing feeling in his hands. This photo signifies that, as well as the topic of identity as a hero. My dad is my hero because he is an intelligent, kind, loving man, and I don't know where I would be without him. Presentation methods - week 3 - Skin Holes.

Josie Cosgrove - Research Development. Thursday, September 15, 2011. Semester 6 - Folio Ideas. Last semester I planned my composites very meticulously, but found this was not helpful as I ended up changing all of my ideas. This semester I am going to stay away from any set planning and let my ideas develop as I go, as this is what proved most effective last semester. 2 Surreal Straight Photographs. Some of my current Fusion ideas are:. Time lapse of a flower blooming. Flower and insect macro photographs.

This shot was taken at Weston Park. IR Converted Pentax K100D. This is a self portrait taken in my friends pool. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Josie Cosgrove - Industry Awareness
Josie Cosgrove - Industry Awareness. Friday, November 19, 2010. Although the speaker for this talk knew her stuff, I found this talk completely irrelevant as I have no interest in what she does. I feel as though this talk was just to fill time, as I am pretty sure most of us are here to be photographers, not receptionists. Dan O'Day and Haley Richardson. Monday, September 6, 2010. April 5, 2015. I am now in my final few days in Sierra Leone, beginning to pack up and make that mental and emotional transfer that always slightly pre-empts the physical transfer. And also a creeping sadness as the realisation grows that my time here is coming to an end. March 31, 2015. I hope it will have the desired effect of further pushing down the rate of transm...
