My adventures in Paso Robles Wine Country. The fecal test came back negative, so he doesn't have worms. All other tests have shown him to be in completely good health. He plays. He naps. He eats. All is normal except that he is losing weight. Now the vet wants to neuter him. So I did an almost exhaustive search on the web and found some indication that intact males might get thin as they age, and the metabolic changes with neutering might help him to gain weight. Tuesday, December 21, 2010. A Virtual Tower of Babel. There is something quaint about pen and paper, stamps and seals, talk and tea etc. I want it to slow down! Wednesday, October 24, 2012. I thought I'd share one of my little secrets. I don't like a bunch of pant leg down in my boots (unless I have skinny type jeans on which I don't really have right now) so I cheat and use my capris. Otherwise, on cooler days the capris don't get used as much. With the new trend of sweater socks, these could look even cuter. So, yes, now you know, I don't look quite so hip underneath there lol. I was surprised how scared I was when I stopped with the chemo, I get real afraid to think about the cancer spreading or growing. Monday, July 1, 2013. July 1, 2013. We began perhaps one of our life's greatest works on November 18, 2010 when our sweet Gaga had her stroke. We've been blessed to be her caregivers since that time, with her living with us since March of 2011. Today she said goodbye to us and is reunited in Heaven with her momma and daddy and the love of her life, granddaddy, or "Honey" as she lovingly called him.
