http://annabellehlhs.blogspot.com/2008/06/some-unfortunate-news.html
Monday, June 16, 2008. Since then Sarah and I have been in kind of a daze. We've been spending as much time as we can with Annabelle, holding her, lying in bed with her, just being with her. I think yesterday she was in one of our arms from 9a to 11p! Jim and Sarah,. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you both, Annabelle and Valentine. Please know that I am available if you need anything - anything at all. Brooke (and Jon and Zander). June 17, 2008 at 7:54 PM. Jim and Sarah,. Brent passed ...

Annabelle's Story: 6/2/08
http://annabellehlhs.blogspot.com/2008/06/6208.html
Monday, June 2, 2008. We received a visit from the Epiphany pastor Father Dennis Zehren. He performed the anointing of the sick and also confirmed her. The hospital chaplain also made out our baptism certificate so that we have a record of when I baptized her a few hours before her first surgery. Sarah continues to do very well, she has very little pain and is pumping constantly now. We've already outgrown our bin in the PICU freezer and have to start keeping milk at home in our freezer now!

Annabelle's Story: June 8
http://annabellehlhs.blogspot.com/2008/06/june-8.html
Sunday, June 8, 2008. Today her lungs looked better and she didn't need to be suctioned nearly as much. She was also awake quite a bit today. We were able to get a mobile for her and she seemed to like to watch it. She appeared to much more lucid today and didn't seem like she was "drugged up". Anyways pretty much just another sit and wait kinda day! We will hopefully get more news on Tuesday afternoon. Jim, Sarah and Family,. June 9, 2008 at 11:01 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Annabelle's Story: March 2008
http://annabellehlhs.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 15, 2008. The next cardiologist appt and level 2 ultrasound (#2). Things are good otherwise, Annabelle is now over 3 lbs! She's active, and her heartrate is strong and right where it's supposed to be. She's got short legs and arms, just like her mom (and her sister) and is quite cute! We'll post more pics soon). Full intake and perhaps do some tours of the nicu and maybe meet with a surgeon. Goodbye United! Here come the long drives to South Minneapolis! Friday, March 14, 2008. Sarah and ...

Annabelle's Story: Letting her go
http://annabellehlhs.blogspot.com/2008/06/letting-her-go.html
Thursday, June 19, 2008. Today was the toughest of all days. Annabelle had been having some rougher days, requiring more oxygen, going on a steady drip of a sedative, then finally today she needed to have her vent pressures increased dramatically. At 4p today we took Annabelle off the ventilator, shortly after which she passed away peacefully. We got to hold Annabelle without any tubes or wires, and got to say goodbye. We will post service and funeral announcements as soon as we are able to arrange them.

Thursday, December 27, 2007. I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas! We stayed home as we do every year and my parents, my brother and my aunt all came in on Christmas Eve and stayed until the 26th. We had a great time and Santa left lots of goodies again this year! Will and Sam both got Spiderman scooters and Emma got a pink guitar! Anyway, this would have been the picture if you'd gotten a card from us this year! Hope you all had a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
