Debbie's Inkspectations: Book Review: Through the Mirror and into Snow By Ann T. Bugg
http://debbiesinkspectations.blogspot.com/2012/12/book-review-through-mirror-and-into.html
Monday, December 3, 2012. Book Review: Through the Mirror and into Snow By Ann T. Bugg. Through the Mirror and Into Snow. Through the Mirror Into Snow. Is a fun story that I know my little girls will love reading as are the other two mashed up fairy tales that follow it. The main characters show they are fearless and willing to dive into adventure and show readers how to be brave and adventurous and go for things in your life without fear. I loved Through the Mirror and into Snow. Author Ann T. Bugg.

Trish Stewart – Author. Monthly Archives: January 2011. Readers – if a tree falls. January 17, 2011. I wrote a poem last week. Been a while. Don’t read it.”. I laughed to myself. “If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it…” Then I realized how true it was. We go through the struggles of publishing because we want someone to hear the tree fall. Be a reader for an unpublished writer you know. Hash, slash, comma, divided. The afterthought on thought. Then your eyes pronounce. Get every n...

Trish Stewart – Author. A Poetry Break and A Short Fiction Break. How Does Your Garden Grow. May 3, 2011. It’s been a good break! Longer than I expected for the internet break part of it, (for example I never meant to abandon facebook), but the break has done me well. My apologies, to my online friends and family; I disappeared almost completely from Facebook and Twitter. You know the saying… “if you don’t have anything nice to say…”? But here’s the good:. I took a much needed break from. Yet It Will Come.

Trish Stewart – Author. Monthly Archives: February 2011. Spring Fever and the DBC. February 21, 2011. It’s happening. This burst of warm weather last week and weekend has my gears shifting to spring. I’m ready for grilling out, fishing, camping, gardening. I can just feel the warm sun on my face, see the fish rise out of the water on my hook. Smell the campfire wood smoke, taste the garden-grown veggies. Here’s what it’s all about:. Wrong weather, wrong time of day? First: learning the different types of...

Trish Stewart – Author. How Does Your Garden Grow →. A Poetry Break and A Short Fiction Break. March 10, 2011. Used a poem of mine on their website today. You can find it here. A big thanks to them. I sent them several poems, and they picked one of my very favorites to share with their readers. In other writing news, I’m going to ease up on myself with the queries for Ernest. It’s time for a little break. And I’m giving myself a break on the. Yet It Will Come. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

What Am I Doing In Mexico?: Hoo Am I: The Answers
http://melanieavila.blogspot.com/2008/09/hoo-am-i-answers.html
Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Hoo Am I: The Answers. Well I feel silly. Here I named my blog What Am I Doing in Mexico? But I neglected to answer the question. The most popular question in yesterday's comments was just that, what am. I've blathered on and on about the food, the bugs, the police - yet I never fully explained how we ended up here. But first, the other questions and answers, plus a bonus for the most flattering question. :) And let me just say, you guys don't mess around! AC said. I'd l...

What Am I Doing In Mexico?: December 2009
http://melanieavila.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 30, 2009. It seems like I've been waiting for this year to end since it started. I've been thinking over 2009 and trying to come up with something cheerful to say, something that will spin the negative into positive (which I'm very good at), but I keep getting stuck. The two things that stand out are getting Owen over the summer, and my grandmother finally coming home in mid-December. Other than that, meh. Raises fat-free Hazelnut-creamer laden coffee above head*. The pie-baking and s...

What Am I Doing In Mexico?: January 2010
http://melanieavila.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. Two If By Sea. Yesterday Ibis and I spent the afternoon at the beach - something I really don't do as often as I should, considering where we live - because I wanted to see the TWO cruise ships in the bay. Two! This has happened before but I was out of town or something, so this was a first for me. The woman asked, rushing ahead of her family. I read your blog! This is where I about fell over. I'm [xxx]. I wrote to you a couple weeks ago.". Ah yes, [xxx]. She was concerned a...

What Am I Doing In Mexico?: Never Say Goodbye 'til It's Closing Time
http://melanieavila.blogspot.com/2010/02/never-say-goodbye-til-its-closing-time.html
Monday, February 22, 2010. Never Say Goodbye 'til It's Closing Time. Yes, I have a medley of farewell songs running through my head. I'd also forgotten how exhausting it is to say goodbye to everyone, and I hardly even know anyone here. In Chicago I had a full week of goodbye parties and I still didn't get to see a couple people. So far there aren't any welcome back parties planned, but I'm sure something can be arranged. My tummy is nervous for you. But Im sending love and huggles for your journey!
