Sunday, 5 April 2009. I was over @shanselman's. Blog checking out his latest WPF post and thought I'd take a look at the code. Unfortunately I've ran into an issue with the XMAL designer failing to load. Could not load type 'System.Windows.NameScope' from assembly 'WindowsBase, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'. A quick google suggests my .net 3.5 SP1 is corrupted. I'll update on how I get on. So I have managed to fix it! I noticed that the Visual Studio 2008 SP1.

Nicky Waites: blog/deploy
http://nickywaites.blogspot.com/2009/04/so-setting-up-this-blog-and-adding.html
Saturday, 4 April 2009. So setting up this blog and adding adsense and analytics has been relatively painless. I think the current set of templates are ok but my little individuality gene is tingling me to step away from the vast unwashed masses. I was a bit surprised with Jeffrey Zeldman's. Contribution as I've been following his respective website's since I first started out Web Development and it was a bit less inspiring than I've come to associate with him. Douglas Bowman. Of Stop Design and Dave Shea.

A quick google pulled up Alex Gorbatchev's Syntax Highlighter. Which I think is really nice and seems to be working well so far. Basically all you need to do to get it working in Blogger / BlogSpot is to add this to your header. Link href='http:/ alexgorbatchev.com/pub/sh/current/styles/shCore.css'. Sunday, 2 August 2009. ASPnet and jQuery Ajax (AutoComplete Example). I’m in the process of learning jQuery and I find that trying to teach while you are learning is a great mechanism for motivating yourself and to keep that process going. So with that caveat if you do find any glaring problems here please jump right in. Ok I’m going to pop open Firefox with Firebug. And show you what I’m talking about. Alright so now to do something similar using ASP.net and jQuery. I’ve gone and setup a r...Input type=...

Sunday, 5 April 2009. Blogging from the iPhone. Blogging from my iPhone and also wondering if blogger has an API (it does). I love the safari browser on this phone. I have a couple of posts that I want to put up later and I plan on posting at least one a week (that include some real content). Well this probably should have been a tweet. Still I'm impressed that this is working from my phone. Posted by Nicky Waites. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Aberdeen, United Kingdom. View my complete profile.
