Saturday, February 12, 2011. Broken Arms, Dogs and Firetrucks. Two Sundays ago Addyson broke her right arm jumping on the trampoline. She came in whimpering and I took one look at her sagging forearm and knew it was broken. I wanted to cry, but, since I'm the mom, I was strong! So, we headed down to Children's at Scottish Rite, downtown. Since her arm had to be re-set, they put her under. We had to wait for the orthopedic surgeon to get out of surgery, and that wasn't until 12:30am! Too tired to care!

Monday, June 1, 2009. So, Sydney has "graduated" from pre-school. Travis and I were talking about the whole idea of graduating pre-school. Don't get me wrong, it's fun for the kids, but it's like saying."Good job! You turned another year older, let's have a graduation". We just think it's funny that now-a-days they have a graduation from pre-school, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and highschool. "Back in my day." we only had high school graduation. I'm so old. haha. I can't believe it!

Saturday, November 7, 2009. I'm finally posting our Halloween pictures! Better late than never! They aren't even in chronological order, but, hey, they are up here! Travis and I went to a costume party dressed as an incompetent doctor and nurse.I'll leave some of the detail out in case I might offend anyone. These are Sydney's and Addyson's pumpkins that they carved with Daddy. Sydney and Addyson were really good about saving the pumpkin seeds, so we could roast them. YUMMY! This is Halloween night.

Wednesday, January 12, 2011. GA Snow = GA shuts down! The girls, however, were bound and determined to go sledding, so we took the Tupperware lids off of our big containers and Travis took them out to one of the hills on our street. They had a blast! We've watched a lot of movies, made cookies, played games, driven each other crazy, but also have enjoyed being shut in together. I've LOVED having Travis home! I get to sleep in! We get to hang out all day! Melt this stuff already! Wednesday, January 5, 2011.

I have carried on the tradition in my family of decorating an Easter egg tree for Easter. This is where the Easter bunny leaves our Easter baskets on Easter morning. Jen and Lou Plus Two! Saturday, August 28, 2010. First Varsity Lambert Football Game. Last night was Lambert's first game. They beat Northwest Whitfield High School, 14 - 0. It was a GREAT game. Totally worth the 2 hour drive. Here are some pictures of the girls before we left. We got new spirit wear. I just love their dresses. My sweet and beautiful Mary Elizabeth. They did a graph at school and their teacher sent home a baggie of hearts and a blank chart. I was so impressed that they were able to graph, that I just had to see it for myself. So, we did at home too. They did such a good job. First, they sorted the conversation hearts by color. Then, they lined them up, one in each box next to the corresponding colored heart.
