Keep In Mind

Thursday, June 20, 2013. I moved to Oakland about three months ago, and I am madly in love with it. I spend my days in the depths of Oakland, in a part that has become aptly named Ghost Town (and not because of all the white people that live there). It really is the Wild West, but I love it, and amazingly, feel very safe here, which is most important. We lit a candle for Dad at Montserrat. Spain brings out the best in people. All of the architecture is so stunning. America is so boring. As we gear up for...

Keep In Mind: September 2012

http://keepingmeinmind.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Monday, September 24, 2012. Youll live to dance another day. It has been forever since I last posted something. As I read through my last few posts, I chuckled to myself at how much has changed. How much I have changed, and yet remained the same. Where to begin? Family- I have the best family anyone could ask for. We all went houseboating for the first time since Dad died, and it was such a triumphant moment for us all. A week of music, and laughing and being off the grid was so refreshing. I have been l...

Keep In Mind: March 2011

http://keepingmeinmind.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 1, 2011. February was quite the month. It seemed like every week there was something happening. Something wonderful. Valentine's day was fun. Miles made Pad-Thai, my favorite, and the fact that he made it, was even better. Then literally a week later was my birthday. A mellow a day with the family, dinner and cake. A day to relax was the perfect present. And then exactly a week later I got proposed to! I have chubby little fingers, but now they have some decoration. View my complete profile.

Keep In Mind: You're lucky, you made it.

http://keepingmeinmind.blogspot.com/2013/01/youre-lucky-you-made-it.html

Tuesday, January 15, 2013. You're lucky, you made it. It's 2013. Weird. Usually I write the wrong year whenever I am dating something for the first few weeks of January, but not this year. Subconsciously, I think I was ready for a new year. I have learned a few songs on my ukulele. More importantly, I am having so much fun playing. This weekend is Kathryn and Anton's engagement party. I'm so happy and excited for them, and can't wait to be a part of the wedding with them in October! There are many things...

Keep In Mind: November 2011

http://keepingmeinmind.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 8, 2011. We spend our lives making a living. It's November, NOVEMBER. When did that even happen? I seem to be missing time, or better yet, time seems to be missing me. Here is what we have been up to. Parachute problems. I looked like a beaten stepchild for days. Bruises and burns everywhere. This was the just the beginning of one of the bruises. Back on solid ground. Safe and sound. We also made time to go to the Bad Dad's art show in SF. It was all art inspired by Wes Anderson mov...

Brad LeDuc's Animation and Sketchblog. The collected ramblings and sketches of an animation student from the Bay Area. Saturday, February 19, 2011. So while searching through the internet late one night, too tired to work but too bored to sleep, I came across a image map created by an artist, (her name escapes me,) as a visual display of some of her inspirations. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm an animation student in the East Bay, Ca. who has been drawing since I learned to pick up a crayon.

Brad LeDuc's Animation and Sketchblog. The collected ramblings and sketches of an animation student from the Bay Area. Saturday, November 20, 2010. Holy damn. My college career is quickly coming to a close. It seems like only a couple days ago when I started in CCA fresh faced and wide eyed. Now its a bout 3 and a half years later, and I'm a scruffy bearded, blood shot eyed, semi-animator. Quick sketchbook post before I get back to work on my VERY behind schedule film.
