Keeping Me in Stitches

Keeping Me in Stitches. Saturday, January 17, 2015. National Hat Day - January 15th. Here's how I celebrated the day - by knitting a new hat with some yarn that had recently arrived. The pattern follows if you're interested in knitting your own! Length of hat about 8.5 inches blocked. 10 stitch pattern repeat is approximately 2.5" wide. DK weight yarn or Sock weight (double stranded) I used about 50 grams of yarn. Size 6 16 " circular needles and size 6 DPNs. Yo - yarn over needle. Round 1 and 3 knit.

Keeping Me in Stitches: December 2012

http://keepingmeinstitchestqp.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

Keeping Me in Stitches. Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year! My little shoveler, Austin, peeking in with delight! I hope everyone had a holiday filled with love, family, and peace. With the help of modern technology, I was able to follow family from one side of the country to the other, from Massachusetts to Alaska. Close proximity to my grandchildren made it possible to see the joy of innocence on these two faces, the best gift of all. Moda The Cutting Table. In Australia,...

Keeping Me in Stitches: January 2014

Keeping Me in Stitches. Thursday, January 30, 2014. Of Memories, Mothers, and Making Mistakes. It's been months since I posted anything on this blog, despite my good intentions to do so. Three topics have been running around in my mind and I've decided to combine them, if for no other reason than the wonderful alliterative quality of the title above. The first topic has to do with memories and how people who make it up the twenty stairs to The Quilted Purl. Who has it now? Brothers and sisters,. I rememb...

Keeping Me in Stitches: Block of the Month in Czarist Russia?

http://keepingmeinstitchestqp.blogspot.com/2013/06/block-of-month-in-czarist-russia.html

Keeping Me in Stitches. Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Block of the Month in Czarist Russia? One of our many ports of call was St. Petersburg, Russia. As we toured the Hermitage, Peterhof, and the Yusupov Palace, I was probably the only person taking more pictures of the flooring than many of the other amazing architectural wonders and works of art. But I kept wondering, did Catherine the Great belong to a Block of the Month Club? June 12, 2013 at 2:01 PM. Seen by an artists eye! View my complete profile.

Keeping Me in Stitches: May 2013

http://keepingmeinstitchestqp.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Keeping Me in Stitches. Friday, May 31, 2013. I love my work! What fun to be able to knit, quilt, listen to music, watch the happenings at Library Park, and meet the delightful and interesting folks who add an extra 20 steps to our already high elevation of 8519 feet and make it up to The Quilted Purl. Pamela and Kirk Rasch are two such people. Happy Anniversary Pamela and Kirk! Hope to see you at The Quilted Purl again sometime and safe travels! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Keep In Mind

Thursday, June 20, 2013. I moved to Oakland about three months ago, and I am madly in love with it. I spend my days in the depths of Oakland, in a part that has become aptly named Ghost Town (and not because of all the white people that live there). It really is the Wild West, but I love it, and amazingly, feel very safe here, which is most important. We lit a candle for Dad at Montserrat. Spain brings out the best in people. All of the architecture is so stunning. America is so boring. As we gear up for...

Keeping Me In Stitches

Keeping Me In Stitches. Thursday, March 01, 2007. I've finally moved my blog to WordPress. Unlike many of my peers, I haven't really experienced issues posting or other common blogger problems. But after perusing WordPress and seeing others with their blogs on WordPress, I've decided I like their format better. So from here on out, you can find me at Keeping Me In Stitches. Posted by Heather @ 10:18 AM. Links to this post. Sunday, February 25, 2007. Instead I made my own stitchmarkers :). The third pair ...

Keeping Me In Stitches | Don’t interrupt while Mom’s counting!

Keeping Me In Stitches. Don’t interrupt while Mom’s counting! October 4, 2007. Yes, I am alive :). Posted by Heather under blogging. Just been very very very busy! Classes started back up for me the last week of August. We took our 15yo dd to a concert (Projekt Revolution – it was AWESOME! I have been knitting though. I’m able to knit in almost all my classes where knitting is possible. Obviously, knitting during computer labs is not conducive to knitting (hi CJ! This is turning into a rant lol. Transfor...
