I can’t believe it’s 2013. I can’t believe in 2 days Isla will be 4 years old. I can’t believe in less than a year I will be 30. Life zips past you so quickly it’s hard to take it all in! We’ve had amazing weather the past couple weeks and today was no exception. Tonight we will celebrate our independence with a roasted pig, lots of friends, and a pool! I love building memories with my girls. Happy 4th of July! What kid didn’t use their mom’s bra as goggles? A good way to start the day!

8221; Oh. Thank. GOD! Those words were healing to my broken mommy heart! I cried all morning. I shopped for stuff I didn’t need. I ate everything sweet in sight. I drank about 50 cups of coffee. I wore sunglasses in the store because my eye’s were like hot tamales. I missed my girl SO MUCH. I couldn’t wait to scoop her up and kiss her little button nose! Our reunion was great and she told me she “will stay in her class tomorrow instead of freaking out”. I calmly obliged. September 10th, 2013 at 3:41 am.

These days… and Isla turns 5. I couldn’t bear the thought of not posting about my baby turning 5. Both my girl’s whole lives and major milestones have been documented here! So, without further ado, Isla turns 5! We were actually camping on her birthday, so we haven’t celebrated with a party yet. This girl… let me tell you. She’s only been on this earth for 5 years but I can’t even imagine what my life was like without her! Isla will be joining her big sister at school, too! Thank goodness for iphones!

Saturday, September 21, 2013. 1 box yellow cake mix. 1/3 cup butter, softened. About 4 fresh peaches, peeled and pitted (or 30 ounces canned peaches, drained). 8 ounces cream cheese. Here's how it's done:. Preheat oven to 350 degree. Combine cake mix, 1 egg and butter. Using a fork mix together until crumble and set aside 3/4 cup (this is used for the topping). Wednesday, February 29, 2012. We went to Babie's R Us last weekend to try and register. Ha! Drove home last night - in the rain and my car that has been having electrical problems decided that I didn't really need the function of my windshield wiper. Wednesday, September 7, 2011. I'm on a roll tonight. I told you I was playing catch up. Labor day weekend I went to help out with a friends wedding. It was a blast. I had so much fun. There was a rehearsal at the vineyard where they would be getting married the following day. We ended the evening back at their house for a taco party rehearsal dinner. The ceremony was short and sweet, the food and music were fabulous and there was plenty of cake to go around. It was a great time. The ceremony was short.

The life and times of our family. Saturday, March 12, 2011. Well we have survived the intial shock of having our third child! Matt has been a complete champ getting up with the kids in the morning to allow me to get in a few more minutes of shut eye before entering my reality of keeping 3 children alive throughout the day.:). One thing has been on my mind lately is how amazing our friends, family and support system are. I literally did not have to cook for 3 weeks! Off to make dinner for the fam.:).
