Sunday, February 28, 2010. I took this picture of our backyard a few weeks ago after I realized we hadn't ventured outside to play for a while. The snow looked untouched, and the playhouse looked so lonely. Too bad I only made it to our back deck to take the picture and headed back inside! A cool thing about Rexburg is the streets seem to remain white during the whole winter season. Our awesome neighbors decided to break out the fun toys. We had a blast! Another one of Collin's favorite past times is pla...

Thursday, August 25, 2011. I love doing laundry.despite the title of this post. Emptying the clothes hampers. The scent of laundry detergent. Hearing the water swishing in the washer. Reveling in the fact that I don't need to use a washboard to scrub mud-splattered pants. Hanging clothes outside in the bright sunshine. Seeing all the towels hanging in order from darkest to lightest.Biggest to smallest. Yes,I am picky like that. White sheets flapping in the wind-reminding me of peace. Even tho we have.

Tuesday, October 30, 2012. We had a picnic/party in the backyard this summer to celebrate the life of Neveah Starr.Less than 12 hours later I was in the doctor's office hearing the news that the baby had died. Was he/she still alive when we celebrated? I hung some white sheets on the washline and covered the picnic table with an old quilt. Bouquets of Baby's Breath(the perfect flower for this occasion) and snippets of boxwood greenery in metal cans were used for center peices. These were so juicy! I cut o...

Saturday, December 24, 2011. Are you ready for Christmas? A shot from the dining room. The right side of the dining room/living room doorway. I still have the "give thanks" pillow out from Dear Lilli's blog.I figured we still need to be reminded to be thankful-especially this holiday season.I bought some Silent Night/Holy Night downloads off Etsy to make pillow covers.I didn't get them made with everything else that's going on. A view from the front entrance. This toy chest is just inside the front entra...

Sunday, June 13, 2010. And I'm loving her so much. Ruby Jane Moore was born on Wednesday, June 9th, at 4:20 in the afternoon. I had the best delivery in the history of mankind. and my sweet, little baby girl is perfect. She's wonderful and beautiful and patient with me and the kids. we are in heaven. Tired, yes, but in heaven, nonetheless. Check out all her dark hair! I need to learn how to style her soft spikees (her hair is soooo soft) because none of my other kids had nearly this much hair. So fun!

Tuesday, February 22, 2011. This girl is CRAWLING! She started tonight, and we are in so much trouble! Oh how I loved the days when she would sit and play and be content with the toys I set in front of her. Those days are loooong gone now. She just wants to move. She wants to go. She wants that thing across the room. She wants whatever it is you have that you don't want her to have. I know she's gonna want those stairs. She wants Jenna's money. Here's Ruby eating her toes. Unless she wants to. Oh my I wa...
