A place for my knits to sit. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. 2012 saw not only 12 shawls fly off the needles, but also my first blanket. It was a baby. Blanket, but still quite sizable. The photo below has it folded in half. I love the multicolored pattern, even if there were a zillion ends to weave in at the end of the project, and the honeycomb gives it a nice, thick texture. Links to this post. Tuesday, January 29, 2013. The sleeves are slowly stretching. Links to this post. Friday, January 25, 2013.

Knitsox | Where I occassionaly write about various obsessions, including knitting and the Red Sox.
December 2, 2010 · 7:49 pm. Vitamin D – Bring it On. Time for my twice yearly blog post. Seriously, I need to do better. May 25, 2010 · 9:01 pm. Oh my goodness. It has been so long since I’ve posted that I forget my wordpress login. It only took a few guesses for me to hack back into my account. Very embarrassing, for so many reasons. January 28, 2010 · 8:32 pm. Driving home tonight, I listened to the NPR story. It made me a little sad, and also a little nostalgic for the joy found in summer reading lists.

How you can take two weeks off and only two days after you return, be right back into the same old routine? First, there was Honeycomb. The second photo shows more stitch detail. Then I saw this pattern for Campfire Socks. Much more interesti...

Projects, thoughts, stash envy, contemplations, and all things knitting. Sunday, February 28, 2010. It's been awhile since I've posted here, but I've been busy! Most recently my big project has been editing (and re-editing, and re-hashing, and scrapping, then editing again.) my longies pattern. I put it on hold for awhile over the New Zealand summer. but as winter is fast approaching I figured the timing was perfect to get it done and published once and for all. Links to this post. Just another WordPress.com site. March 8, 2014. Edith Wharton’s Roman Fever: A Short Story with Knitting. For International Women’s Day 2014 March 8. I’m no English Major, but I did complete what we high school sophomores gleefully dubbed Intro Lit Anal. It seems to me that the short story by Edith Wharton, Roman Fever, is a particularly female story, and one ripe for analysis. And it contains knitting.
