English view of Bulgaria. January 23, 2010. Things changed a lot in 2009. I came back to work and slaved away as an editor of magazines in Birmingham. I’m now feeling like writing about Bulgaria again and catching up with you all. This is the view from our bedroom window in Kipilovo. Here is Stefan and his auntie who spent hours doing all this. 8216;Couldn’t we just buy some from a shop? We went walking with the dogs and picked loads of mushrooms. Usually we never see anyone on our walks apart from the shepherds. Today, they were several people looking for the best mushroom spots. Now what are we going to do with all these mushrooms? Stef is working in Sozopol on this amazing, beautiful sea view house that was designed by our close friend, Anna Nevrocopska, who is a truly talented architect. The weather is mild aparently. Pleasant surprise today was to read the Guardian’s travel pages where Kapka Kassabova has written a lively piece about visiting the lakeside town of Ohrid in Macedonia. Her grandmother came from there. It’s so close to Bulgaria for a short break. She describes the strolling in the market place browsing the shops for Ohrid lake pearls, fine silver filigree, painted icons, roasted chickpeas, Neopolitan waffles and cherry liqueur chocolates. To use vertical-align properly, you should do it on table tag. But there is a way to make other html tags to behave as a table by assigning them a css of display:table to your parent, and display:table-cell on your child.
