I Like These Things: January 2011
http://teganlikes.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
I Like These Things. A bit of this, a bit of that. Sunday, 9 January 2011. A few months ago I decided that rather than continue to buy tat from Topshop and H&M I was going to start investing in more quality pieces. So from now on it's all about: Whistles. To be honest, the high-end highstreet brand is a little on the pricey side for me, but luckily they have bloody good sales and there is an outlet shop near my mum's house in Somerset. Some of the bargains I've managed to get:. Most of us know what this ...

I Like These Things: February 2011
http://teganlikes.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
I Like These Things. A bit of this, a bit of that. Sunday, 20 February 2011. I've got two screenings this week which I'm VERY excited about. First up is animated film Rango, which is 'the story of a chameleon with an identity crisis,' starring Johnny Depp as the title character. I've got high expectations and will be interviewing Bill Nighy and director Gore Verbinski (the Pirates films) later in the week. I can't believe I managed to do this. In December I got to interview Ryan Gosling. RYAN GOSLING!

I Like These Things: October 2010
http://teganlikes.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
I Like These Things. A bit of this, a bit of that. Saturday, 23 October 2010. The BFI London Film Festival 2010. Having some banter with Hilary Swank and Sam Rockwell on the red carpet for Conviction. Talking to Betty Anne Waters about being the real life subject of Conviction. Pronouncing Apichatpong Weerasethakul (so what if it took 15 takes). Chatting to the beautiful Michelle Williams whilst wishing I had her wardrobe. Black Swan. Simply amazing. The lack of Ryan Gosling at the Blue Valentine premiere.

Just another WordPress.com site. A cuppa. There is nothing the Brits take more seriously than a cup of tea. In the office if anyone boils the kettle it is expected that you offer to make a cup for everyone. And I mean everyone. Just the other day one of the guys was making 8 cups of tea. EIGHT! Update: I was called out this morning for boiling the kettle. Oy, I hear that kettle boiling! Who’s in the hot seat? Me Would you like a cup of tea? Yes, strong white please! Ugh, whatever that means. Create a fre...

Just another WordPress.com site. This past year was, as little Parker Rose would say, oopside DOWN! I spent the last 4 months of 2013 talking about how I was going to try and move to the UK and in early 2014 I finally worked up the courage to actually apply for my visa. After a VERY short waiting period (4 business days! 2014, I officially moved to the UK. Not so much. While I did manage to find a job very quickly, (Thank you Cousin Emie! And move into London by early July, it was not all rainbows, lolli...

Perils of the TFL | canadianlove
https://canadianlove.wordpress.com/2014/06/16/perils-of-the-tfl
Just another WordPress.com site. Perils of the TFL. Did anyone ever stop to think that putting stairs on a moving vehicle is a TERRIBLE idea? I admit, I always sit up top (despite the perils of exiting), but every so often someone inevitably tumbles down the stairs and it’s quite tramatic. The views though, best way to see London! Don’t get me started on the 3 storey escalators into the fiery depths of hell… (also known as the Central Line at Oxford Station). A National Beverage →. Enter your comment here.

I Like These Things. A bit of this, a bit of that. Sunday, 20 February 2011. I heart Matt Lucas. My first interview of 2011 was with the brilliant cast of Gnomeo and Juliet; Emily Blunt, Matt Lucas, Ashley Jensen and director Kelly Asbury. One of my most favourite interviews ever.
