Christmas with the Waughs. Our second stop in Georgia was to Eric's parents' house. Great Grandma and Grandpa Waugh, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Jack, and Aunt Elisha, Uncle Jonathan, Caleb, Esther and Anna were also there. It was a house full! Coffee was the theme of gifts this year. The girls got coffee pots as well as us and Elisha and Jonathan. Always fun when Uncle Jack is around. Great Grandma and Grandpa. Reading the ABCs of Star Wars. Anna eating "ice cream". We Ski was a very popular pastime. My amazin...

So Blessed - the Monroe Family's Journey: September 2013
http://themonroefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 18, 2013. I Don't Got This. Bear with grammatically incorrect title. I wish I had time to write every blog post that came to my mind. It happens almost everyday. So for the next few minutes I will ignore the to do list and share a simple thought. I am thankful for the wisdom that has come through age and experience. We talked about Galatians 5 - the Fruits of the Spirit. She said, "After reading that for the first time, I thought 'That's impossible! No one can be all of those things!

So Blessed - the Monroe Family's Journey: Disney Day 6 - Epcot
http://themonroefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2014/04/disney-day-6-epcot.html
Monday, April 21, 2014. Disney Day 6 - Epcot. On Saturday, it was time to go to Epcot. Our last day at the parks. In an effort to get Mya to 40 inches, we tried putting Mya's hair as high as possible. LOL. Epcot was having their Flower Festival. The flowers were gorgeous! We took a few minutes to walk through the Tinkerbell Butterfly Garden. Then it was time to use the Soarin' Fast Passes! We were not beyond stuffing Mya's shoes to get her on. Definitely one of our favorite rides! Back to Mary Poppins.

So Blessed - the Monroe Family's Journey: Homeschool Wrap Up
http://themonroefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2014/05/homeschool-wrap-up.html
Friday, May 23, 2014. On May 14th, we wrapped up our 3rd year of homeschooling. I feel like such a newbie to the homeschooling world, but I guess 3 years counts as experience! This year was our first official year of reporting though. Overall, this year was great. While everyday wasn't a load of fun, Addison did a great job of getting her work done and rarely ever complained about school. Chad and I turned out fine, right? No one will ever care about your child's character more than you will.". Abeka - e...

We are supposed to get another couple of inches of snow tonight and it reminded me that I wanted to blog about our BIG snow last week. Turns out the weather man was right this time! Sunday, February 14, 2010. Tuesday, February 02, 2010.

A record of the growing Johansson family - Erik, Cathryn, Grace, Matthew, and William. Friday, September 25, 2009. Amish Friendship Bread Starter. That's right, ladies. I've got it and I know. Want it. :) I seem to get this bread every time I am pregnant. It has become my baby belly food I guess! The last time I was making this bread I stopped the week Matthew was born. I mean, who has time to babysit a ziploc bag of goo with a newborn? If you want a starter (and I guess live around here! In Hebron. ...

So Blessed - the Monroe Family's Journey: Lucy's 1st Birthday!
http://themonroefamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2014/07/lucys-1st-birthday.html
Monday, July 28, 2014. 3rd kid - I got it. Her birthday was almost 2 months ago. Moving on. For Lucy's first birthday we happened to be at the beach with my family. Not a bad place to spend your birthday! The party was not a Pinterest spectacular. It was a run to Publix, open a few present, then head out for your cousins to ride go-carts. Here are some things she has accomplished in her first year:. Has been to 16 states. Has been on 11 airplanes. Been to The Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic. Preferred sl...
