Leaning Oaks is our property in Saanich on Southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Its seven acres has a variety of habitats including Douglas-fir forest, rock outcrop, Garry Oak meadow and an artificial pond. A Species a Day. A Species a Day. This is our attempt to document the flora and fauna of our property, a species at a time, approximately one a day.
