Saturday, 18 July 2015. A day on the local river today in search of some barbel and hopefully a decent chub or two. Rolling meat and a mobile approach was the technique, and it wasn't long before I found some barbel. I got a few barbel on the books (five) then went in search of chub, landing quite a few of them, in fact I lost count, the best going 4lb 2oz. Above and 3lb 10oz. A great day's fishing!
