Norfolk 'N Good: Waters in the Fens
http://norfolkngoodpikefishing.blogspot.com/p/waters-in-fens.html
One of them pike fishing blogs. Waters in the Fens. Twenties from the Fens. Waters in the Fens. A mate who knew where I'd had a fish ounces under 26lbs fished the same swim a couple of times and eventually had one almost the same size. Had your 25:12 out, he texted. When I looked at the picture, it was clearly a different fish. We went back together, either pike would have been something to write home about towards the end of the season, as she swelled with spawn. Neither graced our nets again. Korum fiv...

The Northern Angler: Theseus Barbel Master
http://leebarlow82.blogspot.com/2013/08/theseus-barbel-master.html
My Quest in the Search for Barbus Barbus and Esox Lucius. Sunday, 4 August 2013. I recently purchased a pair of these 12ft Theseus Barbel Master 1.75TC rods as i was looking for a reasonable pair of affordable barbel rods so after seeing these i decided to try them out at a Reasonable r.r.p £59.99. Had a good look at the rods in the shop a nice through action straight through the rod a nice bend through so seamed ideal for fishing my Regular River Ribble. I very much doubt it had been damaged in the car ...

Going with the flow: March 2014
http://riveranglersgowiththeflow.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Going with the flow. Thursday, 27 March 2014. Deserted hail battered swim. The impending ice balls cleared and we were free to fish, I caught a reasonable Roach about a pound quickly followed by a slightly smaller Perch, the Perch (and all others caught on the day) were as fat as footballs, obviously they hadn't spawned just yet, I had wondered with the mild weather and thought that they would have done so but it seemed not on this water. Tuesday, 18 March 2014. Curtain call on the Wye. The second cast w...

Bureboyblog: April 2015
http://bureboyblog.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Mostly fishing, mainly North Norfolk. Wednesday, 29 April 2015. Clearing party on the reservoir to take out the lifted algal mat, this device was very successful. Back on the bridge for a clearer look at the massed ranks of chub. 2 barbel in there too. Sunday, 26 April 2015. Chub still massed on the gravels just above the iron bridge and proving quite a draw to walkers and drooling anglers alike. The number of 5lb plus fish is quite staggering, and several are bigger than that. They won't be ther...Finis...

pullmyline: Suspenders!
http://pullmyline.blogspot.com/2014/04/suspenders.html
Ramblings about my fishing trips, mainly to the rivers, lakes and canals in the South Midlands. Friday, 18 April 2014. Now that the rivers are forbidden, we have to turn our attentions to lakes, pools and canals. There's a very small pool 5 minutes drive away which, despite living here for 17 years I've never bothered with. It's an L-shaped one with its width more akin to a canal and rumoured to hold at least 1 20lb carp. Back to the title. Again there was absolutely no interest in the bottom bait althou...
