Our little corner of New York City. Regardless of my motivations, the awesomeness of the idea still drew me, but the more I prayed (or even thought) about it, I knew for whatever reason, God’s plan was for me to stay put and actually, not have a job at all. I wanted an identity with a little more edge. Being conscious of how I spend my time and making sure it is not wasted. I think. View all posts by yumbs →. November Trips | yumbs & family
https://yumbs.wordpress.com/2010/12/02/november-trips
Our little corner of New York City. St John →. We spent the past two weekends out of town in Cold Spring (upstate in the Hudson Valley) and Seattle, respectively. Here are some pics:. A really lovely little town accessible by train from New York City. It was great for a nice weekend getaway. There’s hiking trails within walking distance from the train station and town. I think we’d really love to come back again. The view from Cold Spring (on the shores of the Hudson). View all posts by yumbs →. Enter yo...

Our little corner of New York City. Summer Visitors →. Well if you haven’t heard, Marcy arrived into the world on an early Tuesday morning! Since the birth, things have progressed really well. Marcy and I have (I think) gradually learned to feed, which I had heard could be quite trying. So, we are just so in awe and truly thankful for so many blessings! Tonight, this is the song that I began to hum:. Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,. Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;. Streams of mercy, never ceasing,.

Our little corner of New York City. Another long post →. Pics from the best weekend ever — Happy 4th! Friday: A day trip to Long Beach in Long Island with my coworkers. Sat: An afternoon in the newly opened section of Hudson River Park (23rd-28th? Our view directly in front of us (we do live in chelsea). Our entertainment to the left. The real reason we came to the park was to test our Noah's makeshift kite. Sun: Morning at the Brooklyn Flea (Angela has come to visit for the week! Pics courtesy of Angela).

Our little corner of New York City. November Trips →. It’s been quite awhile. I kind of took an inadvertent break (good and bad) from thinking very much over the summer. I am currently working on an update regarding my life, for lack of better words. But in the meantime, I thought I would post something I wrote a few weeks ago. This year, our church fellowship is reading through the Bible in one year using this plan. Bad; but ever since, I’ve really been convicted that God was using the passage in ...

Summer Visitors | yumbs & family
https://yumbs.wordpress.com/2011/08/20/summer-visitors
Our little corner of New York City. My life now →. This summer we finally found a little patch of nature here in New York City – right outside our window sill. Noah resurrected our old lawn (he had rolled it up when the roots ran out of room and stopped growing and placed it with our now-defunct compost) in a window planter and ever since has been dumping random seeds into it from the produce we cook. One month later, Birdie made a home here…. 8230; and laid two eggs! Another egg was laid the next day).

Life of Another Peanut. Sunday, March 27, 2011. Video - On the Floor. Saturday, March 26, 2011. We're just lucky that he's willing to be on his tummy for longer than a split second! Added bonus here that he's smiling! Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Didi's first trip to the Aquarium. He was a bit dazed because he didn't take his morning nap. He did seem somewhat interested in the fish. Although most of the time he was more interested in watching his sister. Thursday, March 10, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life of Another Peanut. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Didi apparently has not found a need to be very mobile. At last, he's showing some signs that he might possibly maybe crawl. Well, this is a start anyways. Monday, April 11, 2011. Here's a picture of his headshot that I thought looked decent enough to share. Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Video - In Love with Oven? Life of Another Peanut: July 2011
http://leewangbaby2.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Life of Another Peanut. Monday, July 11, 2011. Didi is fascinated by computers. Every time he gets near one, he has to type on it. Come to think of it, Peanut was like this, too. Saturday, July 9, 2011. Oops, forgot to share this video from 5/13/11. Thursday, July 7, 2011. What is it with kids and washing machines? Peanut was also mesmerized by the washing machine when she was little. She's still fascinated by it. She will scold me if I do laundry by myself, without her help! Tuesday, July 5, 2011. View ...
