Home, where you love the best, and laugh the most". The Stevens: Lucas, Shanell, Rhenley, Jodee, Jayda, and Dayna. To finish off their Oregon Trail unit, the kids walked about 3 miles, with wagons, and dressed in pioneer attire to get a feel for what it might have been like to be on the trail. Every family had to carry a 5# flour sack baby :). Penalties, like jumping jacks, for making the wrong choice at the check points :) (My group did really well… only made a few wrong choices:). This poor girl has been through the shelter three times already in her short eleven weeks of life because people aren't ready to be her forever family.
