Instead, I wanted to write of an awe-inspiring landscape here in Philadelphia, PA. Hmmm…where could that be? Without a doubt, for me, it is the stone arch railroad bridge along Kelly Drive. Like What You See? Leave Tom’s house and climb zig-zag path to brow of hill on west side of Barrow-downs (ca. 9 am). On ponies go up steep slopes and down long limbs. No trees or water. Turn more east than they intend and enter the Barrow-downs, a place of great dread: inhabited by evil Barrow-wights from Angmar (R. Foster). I haven’t added in any of my miles from Fit Club. Shame on me. It’s easily 20, probably more like 30, but I will use the 20 to be on the safe side. Finally made it past the ferry.
