Monday, November 3, 2008. My crime fighting duo! The kids had a great time on Halloween! We went to the Halloween Carnival at the Prizery and Trunk of Treats at our church .They scored enough candy to last until next Halloween (you know I barely allow one piece a day! Monday, October 27, 2008. Anniversary trip and other stuff. Dennis and I celebrated 6 years of marriage on October 15. We celebrated last week by taking a mini-vacation to Charlottesville, VA. We went shopping, strolled the downtown area, went to the movies, and toured Monticello. It was GREAT! Here are some pics from the gorgeous Monticello:. Harper is very into playing doctor these days. Tuesday, December 15, 2009. I think I will try this again. Life is as busy as always, but I choose for it to be that way, so I can't really complain. The kids really keep us busy with activities. I never thought I'd be the mom taxiing kids from here to there, but I am! I stay busy with work, Junior Woman's Club stuff, PTO, Prizery board, youth group etc. If people know you get things done, they will ask you to do lots of stuff. I like giving back and improving the community, so it works out. Christmas is...

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Those who know me well know that I am pretty anal about what my children eat and the nutrition they receive every day. I have a lot of my friends and family ask me questions about what we eat as a family, how I get them to eat so well, etc. Upon the suggestion of a dear friend, I have decided to blog about it. This is a work in progress! I don't claim to be a nutritional expert, but I am a very busy working mother who cares a lot about what goes in my kids' bodies!

Monday, October 13, 2008. A great autumn weekend. Other than Saturday's trip to the ER because Grayson got what we think was a migraine after his soccer game (long story), we had a terrific weekend with gorgeous fall weather. First off, Grayson scored 4 goals on Saturday - YAY! He is really improving at the game, and it is fun to watch. We went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday after church and youth group, and the kids had lots of fun! Grayson and Harper playing in corn. I wonder where they get it.
