When Makenzie and Brody were down to visit, one of the things. On their "must do" list was seeing their new baby cousin, Hunter Rose. Kelly couldn't wait to get her hands on her. My mom with her 3 of her youngest great-grandkids and baby Hunter Rose who is her youngest. Of course with all the attention on the baby, the great grandkids wanted. Funny things they say. I wasn't sure how to title this. I just know I want to remember things my kids, grand kids, nieces and nephews said. When they were young. National Dance Week and why that matters to me. It's National Dance Week. I've never been a dancer although I always wanted to take ballet when I was young. And maybe even now a little). I'm not a fan of Dance Moms but I know plenty of you are. Just not my cup of tea. I've only seen Dancing With The Stars a few times and I really enjoyed it. Just can't seem to fit it into a weekly schedule. I do love a great ballet or Broadway Musical. Let's just say I'm not your typical dance enthusiast. To it right away.

Caroline turned 9 and wanted a pool party. When we were done, she asked me to hold her. She's still my baby, even if she is 9! She will hold the spot as our favorite 9 year old for the next 12 days before her "twin" joins her. Then she becomes our favorite 9 year old born in May ;-). Now she's got her own. Board to practice on.

Caroline has been a beach baby, well since the day she was born.literally. I went into labor a few weeks early on Memorial Day while we were at the beach! We drove from the beach, picked up our hospital bag and then went straight to the hospital. Caroline was born at 9:45 pm (just a soon as the on- call doctor finished his day at the lake). Fun in the waves.
