http://worshiptribute.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Ken Wong / Graphic Design Student / Blogspot /. Monday, 7 July 2008. Check this out from Science Under Fire,. Wouldn't that be amazing. I'm not normally a fan of artists but these days a lot of Art seems to be design based/ lead and a lot of Design caters for the Visual Aesthetic pleasures of the human Eye. Friday, 4 July 2008. The logo designed by Spin studios in London, is really cool. Go check it out on their website for a more contextual view of it. Thursday, 3 July 2008. Look at this font.

WorshipTribute*: May 2008

Ken Wong / Graphic Design Student / Blogspot /. Wednesday, 28 May 2008. This is Wieden and Kennedy's campaign for Orange Mobile in Romania. Its very simple and utlises some really interesting photography. I like the tone of the photography, it is very much less saturated so that the orange stands out more. Again, Orange are using Helvetica Light (or a similar typeface) in their design which always looks comfortable. Friday, 23 May 2008. I'm sure this is the talk of the town. Tuesday, 20 May 2008. http://lisaolivia2.blogspot.com/2008/12/my-own-range-of-stuff.html
Lisa Brown - Design Practice 3. Friday, 5 December 2008. My own range of stuff. I have finished my 3rd brief - the 'i love/i hate' range of paper based gift products. my camera is shocking I wish I had hired an SLR but oh well. I think it makes the screen printed book a lot stronger to have a whole range of stuff in the same idea supporting it. i've just realised i didn't include the book in this photo. 14 December 2008 at 10:10. Saturday, 27 September 2008. Since I've stumbled across infographics, I have been keeping my eyes peeled for some interesting inspiration. I found the work of Catalog Tree in a book called "The Layout Look Book" (which is an AMAZING book, I'd recommend it! They has so much more work I would love to put on, but this is just a handful of the ones that caught my eye. The sixth poster in a series of nine about the road between Arnhem and Nijmegen. The poster shows all accidents happened 1998 and 2003. Infogr...

Lisa Brown - Design Practice 3: Evaluation
http://lisaolivia2.blogspot.com/2008/12/evaluation.html
Lisa Brown - Design Practice 3. Thursday, 18 December 2008. A weakness of my work is that I haven't investigated print enough and factors which can affect the production of design for print like stock etc. I also didn't research very much contemporary design/designers and this probably would have helped me a lot. I think some of my work looks very childish and I would like it to look more professional but still keep the 'style' my own. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Link to my first blog.

http://emmawidnall.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, 5 June 2008. I still feel that my confidence as a person and how I work needs improving, especially before I go on into the big wide world of the Graphic Design industry. I maybe think that my confidence has deteriorated slightly since the first year, for what reason, I don’t know. But this is something I know needs the most improvement, starting as soon as possible! Overall I think that I have had a successful second year. Learning a lot about myself and the way I work. But I still hav...Their...

Inspiration: :: BENOIT LEMOINE
http://emmawidnall.blogspot.com/2009/01/benoit-lemoine.html
Tuesday, 13 January 2009. Is a French designer. I came across his work in a book called Data Flow and thought it was really quirky and inspirational and wanted to check out more of his work, not just that featured in the book. A cipher is transmuted to an alphabet. The outline of a font is traced using wool. The lengths of wool are then displayed as a new alphabet, creating a typographic, machine readable code based on distances and proportions. Very clever idea.so simple, yet so complicated.

Inspiration: :: BVD

Saturday, 3 January 2009. Was formed by Swedish designers Carin Blidholm Svensson and Catrin Vagnemark. ('BV' being the initials of their surnames and the 'D' standing for design). Got off to a great start, with commissions from IKEA and H&M, BVD has now grown into a company compromising 18 talented designers. Visual identity needs to communicate the soul of the brand and retail design is a physical expression of the brand." - BVD. To deign the logo, the packaging, in-store communication and displays.
