This week, I finally got my Christmas cards in the mail! And while I was addressing them, I couldn't help but be filled with gratitude to our Heavenly Father for granting us this opportunity. We are SO thrilled to have our little 8-month old, 16 lb (yes, that's right. 16! Pierce with us this Christmas. And we look forward to celebrating the miracle of not only his life, but of the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We hope each and every one of you have a very, Merry Christmas! Well life is this never-ending, whirlwind and I'm constantly trying to keep my head above water. Maybe the last Christmas spent at my Granny's house. Tubing down Stone Mountain. I feel like if it's going to be 16 degrees, it should snow. I work downtown now. It's kinda the best. Luke had a field trip to the Atlanta Symphony. He wore a suit because he'd wear a tie everyday if I let him.

Monday, 22 August 2016. We drove all the way to Cornwall to pick up Daddy's kayak. It's massive! A dinner stop at Newquay's Fistral beach and by chance we came across the music festival. It was going strong! We stopped at one of Rick Stein's Cafes for dinner. I tried chicken curry and it was yum! Ella went for the fish and chips and loved it. Earlier this month, we had to say goodbye to our dog Cooper. He would have been 11 years old this September. He ended up with a an anal tumor that couldn't be contained and we made the best decision for him and our family, but of course, it is very hard to let him go. Jordy has been very good at doing laundry.
