little bird eats...: Q2 - goodbye Edinburgh, hello Ireland

http://littlebirdeats.blogspot.com/2007/05/q2-goodbye-edinburgh-hello-ireland.html

The kitchen blog of an English girl who's just moved to Ireland after living in Scotland for 13 years. Sunday, May 20, 2007. Q2 - goodbye Edinburgh, hello Ireland. You’ve mentioned that you’re moving to Ireland. Are you finding that a move to a whole new land mass is more challenging than a normal house move? Many moons ago, I met my Irish husband-to-be in Edinburgh. And we decided to set up home here, get married, all that kind of boring domestic stuff. After talking it over with Mr B., I decided to...

little bird eats...: The brownie syndrome

http://littlebirdeats.blogspot.com/2007/12/brownie-syndrome.html

The kitchen blog of an English girl who's just moved to Ireland after living in Scotland for 13 years. Sunday, December 30, 2007. We're about to head off to Limerick to see in the new year - but I've just got enough time to squeeze in one last post for 2007. People get just a wee bit possessive about their brownie recipes. On two different occasions recently, I was chatting to some friends, both exceptional cooks, and mentioned that I’d stumbled across a fantastic brownie recipe. Erm How to answer that?

The kitchen blog of an English girl who's just moved to Ireland after living in Scotland for 13 years. Sunday, May 20, 2007. Questions, questions, questions. The very lovely Gastronomy Domine. Has given me five testing questions to answer for this blog (thank you Liz). The answers are quite long so I’m going to split them up into five separate entries. I can never give a straight answer to anything…. 1 Have you ever eaten the perfect meal - one where the food, company and surroundings were just spot on?

http://misslionheart-aplaiceforeverything.blogspot.com/2008/01/menu-planner.html

A Plaice for Everything. Monday, January 7, 2008. Whilst cleaning the freezer last night, I couldn’t believe how many fishy stuff I had in there, so this week the children will be stuffed to the ‘gills’ (hehe) with a few fish dishes. In no particular order, here’s the menu for this week. Myself and Chef will be having more grown up food! Cod fillets with sweetcorn and boiled potatoes. Vegetable fingers with peas and fresh mashed potatoes. Chicken and sweetcorn lattice with basmati rice and green beans.

Then Chefs two sisters are coming to stay, they are pasta fans, so are my children. Sorted. Monday Pasta Carbonara or leftover lamb casserole. Us, Lamb Balti and basmati rice). Us, not sure yet).

The kitchen blog of an English girl who's just moved to Ireland after living in Scotland for 13 years. Thursday, January 03, 2008. New year, new look. Oooh - I've wibbled, wobbled and wavered, and I'm probably going to regret this but. I'm jumping ship to Wordpress. I've been seduced by cleaner-looking templates and functionality. By the fact that I can have little tabs at the top of my homepage to organise links, recipes etc. And a tag cloud. I'm so fickle. Labels: bye bye Blogger. 8230;’. But...It&#821...
