Little Card Corner: Operation Write Home
http://littlecardcorner.blogspot.com/2012/12/operation-write-home.html
A blog devoted to card-making, crafts, and sewing projects. Crafting on a Budget. Monday, December 3, 2012. Things have been really busy around here lately! Over the past month and a half, I have sold cards in two craft fairs, bought a house, and packed up all of our earthly possessions in preparation for moving day (T-5 days and counting). I am just taking a few minutes out of my busy schedule to post about an awesome cause that I just discovered. Posted by Jean Little. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Little Card Corner: Crafting on a Budget

A blog devoted to card-making, crafts, and sewing projects. Crafting on a Budget. Crafting on a Budget. The other day I was reading some 2004 statistics on scrapbooking. According to those statistics, the average novice scrapbooker owned more than $1000 of supplies and the dedicated scrapbooker owned more than $2000 of supplies. And it totally didn't surprise me at all! Buying new supplies can be tempting, especially if they are on a great sale. Rather than an actual scrapbooker. Tip #3: Buy Used Supplies.
Little Card Corner: September 2012
http://littlecardcorner.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
A blog devoted to card-making, crafts, and sewing projects. Crafting on a Budget. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. After I finished the car seat canopy, I was just so excited about how cute it turned out that I decided to make a card to match. I used the Mojo Monday sketch again. I really like how the geometric shapes and colors that I used made this card look very modern. I also made a Thank You card that has the exact same colors and pattern. Here they are:. Posted by Jean Little. About 6 inches of velcro.

A Little Cooking: Zuppa Toscana
http://alittlecooking.blogspot.com/2012/11/zuppa-toscana.html
Tuesday, November 20, 2012. When I lived in Honduras, people ate soup frequently throughout the year - even though it was always very hot outside. Whenever anyone served us soup, they would usually make a joke about who was going to start sweating first. Here in the states, soup is more of a fall or winter dish. I guess sweating just isn't as well-accepted as part of everyday life. Preparation Time: 20 minutes. Cooking Time: 4-6 hours. 5 cups chicken broth. 2 cups whipping cream (I prefer evaporated milk).
A Little Cooking: Asian Meatballs
http://alittlecooking.blogspot.com/2012/11/asian-meatballs.html
Monday, November 12, 2012. Anyway, I found these meatballs on For the Love of Cooking. They tasted great. I also really liked the tangy dipping sauce that went with them. 1 lb ground turkey. 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped. 2 Tbsp green onions, finely chopped. 1 Tbsp ginger, minced. 1 tsp minced garlic. 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs. 1 Tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce. 2 tsp sesame oil. Salt and pepper, to taste. 4 Tbsp soy sauce. 2 Tbsp lime juice (approximately 1 fresh lime, juiced). 2 tsp sesame oil. Last weekend...
A Little Cooking: White Chocolate Blackberry Cheesecake
http://alittlecooking.blogspot.com/2012/11/white-chocolate-blackberry-cheesecake.html
Thursday, November 22, 2012. White Chocolate Blackberry Cheesecake. We are going to my in-law's house for Thanksgiving dinner so I have narrowly escaped making Thanksgiving for another year. In fact, all we are doing is bringing a cheese ball and some crackers so I don't have to cook today AT ALL. That is definitely something I am thankful for. 1 1/2 cup graham crackers, crumbled. 1/3 cup margarine, melted. 4 8 oz packages cream cheese. 1/2 cup seedless blackberry preserves. 1/2 cup sour cream. Place che...

Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes. A few weeks ago I volunteered to bring cupcakes to a friend's graduation party. Because cupcakes seem to be all the rage right now, I decided that I would try my hand at a "gourmet" treat. They turned out great. I used the chocolate cupcake recipe. Because I have already posted the recipe for the cupcakes, here is the recipe for the frosting:. 1/2 cup margarine, softened. 3/4 cup peanut butter. 2 cups powdered sugar (or more, to taste). J Dawgs is...

Little Family: August 2012
http://chrisandjeanlittle.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 18, 2012. Here is the video I took yesterday of Connor rolling over. Don't mind my silly narration. It is so weird to hear a recording of my own voice. Do I really sound like that? Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Connor rolled over for the very first time today! Chris and I both watched him do it! I am so proud of him! It has only been about a week that he seemed to have enough control to roll from side to side on purpose so that he could look at different things. Connor loves to play. H...
