Saturday, August 08, 2015. Poem for Saturday, HP, The 37s, Discovery Beach. Diana of the Hunt. All can see, in the shining places,. Vestiges of her classic graces;. Where her footsteps, fleet and stark,. Have beautifully embossed the dark. We know indeed, that the stately and golden. Antlers, hunters and heroes olden,. Wood-nymph, satyr, and sylvan faun.—. Goddess and stag, are gone! But still,—as strange as it may appear,—. Sometimes when the nights are bright and clear,. Over the hills and far away!

Little Reviews: Poem for Tuesday, HP, Tiny Kittens

Tuesday, August 04, 2015. Poem for Tuesday, HP, Tiny Kittens. He's nothing much but fur. And two round eyes of blue,. He has a giant purr. And a midget mew. He darts and pats the air,. He starts and cocks his ear,. When there is nothing there. For him to see and hear. He runs around in rings,. But why we cannot tell;. With sideways leaps he springs. At things invisible -. Then half-way through a leap. His startled eyeballs close,. And he drops off to sleep. With one paw on his nose. Writer, mother, reade...

Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Poem for Tuesday and Sewer Museum. Pipe tobacco and the passing of clouds. The small promises of collarbones. And cedar shingles. Has it been so long. Since I’ve really said anything? My days are filled. With meaningless words and the child’s. Laughter. Little of what I do. Is important, but maybe the ways. Are The crows outside bathing. In the gutters, the strange necessity. Of holding up an appearance. And nodding our heads at dinner parties. A litany of the stains that show.

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Poem for Tuesday and Golf Lighthouses. The squall sweeps gray-winged across the obliterated hills,. And the startled lake seems to run before it;. From the wood comes a clamor of leaves,. Tugging at the twigs,. Pouring from the branches,. And suddenly the birds are still. Thunder crumples the sky,. Lightning tears at it. And now the rain! The rain—thudding—implacable—. The wind, reveling in the confusion of great pines! And a silver sifting of light,. Penitent, tearful,. Walter in...

Little Reviews: Placeholder for Monday
http://littlereview.blogspot.com/2015/08/placeholder-for-monday.html
Monday, August 10, 2015. Paul and I got up early and went to Sandy Point State Park outside Annapolis with Adam and Cheryl, where we had magnificent weather to swim in the Chesapeake and picnic while watching the boats go under the Bay Bridge. In fact, had I not gotten sunburned, it would have been a perfect afternoon! Then we came home and watched Pitch Perfect. Plus had stew Paul had left cooking in the crock pot. So, awesome day and will catch up on everything tomorrow! View my complete profile. Poem ...

So I'm going to be brief again - I spent the morning fighting with Google Drive (WHICH SUCKS AND MADE ME REINSTALL IT ON MY LAPTOP AFTER 48 HOURS OF TRYING TO SYNC) and the afternoon in lovely weather in Baltimore with Paul's parents, Paul and Adam at the Maryland Zoo. Little Reviews: Poem for Wednesday, HP, Canal Turtles
http://littlereview.blogspot.com/2015/08/poem-for-wednesday-hp-canal-turtles.html
Wednesday, August 05, 2015. Poem for Wednesday, HP, Canal Turtles. I swear that, in Gardena, on a moonlit suburban street,. There are souls that twirl like kites lashed to the wrists of the living. And spirits who tumble in a solemn limbo between 164th. And the long river of stars to Amida's Paradise in the West. As though I belonged, I've come from my life of papers and exile. To walk among these penitents at the Festival of the Dead,. The booths full of sellers hawking rice cakes and candied plums,.
