Sunday, September 15, 2013. Thank goodness she stopped and took a picture with the kids. That made their evening, and we were able to go home at that point! Today, Sunday, we surprised the kids with a character breakfast at the Hilton Hotel near downtown Disney. It was a great setup-no reservations, and there were four Disney characters there: Brer Bear, Brer Fox, Minnie Mouse, and Pluto. Sunday, July 28, 2013. I can't believe that the kids go back to school in less than two weeks. August 8th is their start date. I also can't believe that they will be at the same school and in school the same hours! I guess I have to come to the realization that my baby boy is growing up. Thursday, May 30, 2013. Wow Another school year has passed us by. I am super proud of Savannah, she has been in four schools in three years and never missed a beat! Jeff goes in for surgery on his ankle tomorrow. We are hoping that the rehabilitation won't be too great, but we won't know until after the surgery and what the doctor finds/fixes. We had a big yard sale and got rid of lots of random stuff that we have been carrying with us through the last two moves. Sunday, June 9, 2013. Jeff went back to work for a half day on Thursday and he plans to work all this week. Here's a picture that a colleague took last week. Everyone enjoys the knee scooter! He has a follow up appointment with the doctor this week and hopefully will start physical therapy in the next few weeks. So far, he has very little pain, and pretty good range of motion. Monday, April 29, 2013. Pretty Busy Without Doing Much! Jeff celebrated his 43rd birthday over the weekend. The kids and I made him a cake, just like last year. Except this year, the cake was much better! My friend Eliza kept the kids on Saturday night so that Jeff and I could go out on a date. It was really low-key, a minor league baseball game! Sunday, October 5, 2014. A Hint of Fall. We've just gotten our first cold front of the season! The lows dipped into the mid 60s last night and much of the humidity is gone. Today has been a beautiful day! When we left for church this morning Vince said it was zero degrees he was so cold!
