Erin Loves Brad: April 2015
http://erinboswell.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 23, 2015. The Land of Cotton.and humidity. A couple of weeks ago, Claire and I went off on an adventure. This may not sound brave to you, but I felt so valiant and mighty.by taking off for Alabama with my 2-year-old BY MYSELF. You should know that traveling (by plane car) from Boston to Alabama takes almost half the time that it takes to drive from Durham to Huntsville. Shocking, isn't it? It's a ten-hour drive from door to door. Isn't that crazy? Complete with ocean ducks floating around.

Erin Loves Brad: Boswells on the Beach
http://erinboswell.blogspot.com/2015/07/boswells-on-beach.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Boswells on the Beach. A few weeks ago, we joined all the sharks and enjoyed a week at the beach! Our beach trip (with Brad's family) was planned long before all the sharks made their plans to visit the Carolina shores, just for the record. It was certainly a bummer to watch shark attacks on the Carolina coast steadily pop up in the news immediately before we were headed that way, but alas. Contemplating the deep things of life. Morning snack on our beautiful boardwalk. Valiant ...

Erin Loves Brad: June 2014
http://erinboswell.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 19, 2014. Root, root, root for the Red Sox. For most of my life, I have hated. And then.I went to a game at Fenway Park last summer. I loved it! While Brad's parents were here a few weeks ago, we got a babysitter for Claire and headed off to a game (which we didn't win, but that's hardly the point, in my opinion). The Sox were playing the Toronto Jays, the weather was awesome, and the food was fantastic. A perfect Boston outing. Waiting for the T.along with quite a few other fans. There's ...

Erin Loves Brad: Claire at Uni-ber-sal (and a few bonus things about our trip)
http://erinboswell.blogspot.com/2015/08/claire-at-uni-ber-sal-and-few-bonus.html
Saturday, August 8, 2015. Claire at Uni-ber-sal (and a few bonus things about our trip). We really had such a blast with Claire at Universal, despite some misgivings that I had about taking a two-year-old to an amusement park. She was so much fun and so much fun to watch. She found everything to be rather magical. A few favorites:. T's ok, Nana, it's ok. When standing close to a roller coaster that was loud and a little bit scary to a small child). The twain station in Hogsmeade. Amiee even got in on it.

grace notes: January 2011
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 15, 2011. Over winter break, I've been trying to catch up on my reading. When I was in high school, I was always baffled by the college students who said that they were so busy that they didn't have time to read anymore. "Well, I'll make time! If there be any reserve in my giving to. Him who so loved that He gave. His Dearest for me;. If there be any secret "but" in my. Then I know nothing of Calvary love. Tuesday, January 4, 2011. grace notes: Downton Abbey Withdrawals
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2012/03/downton-abbey-withdrawals.html
Thursday, March 8, 2012. Lady Violet: "You are quite wonderful the way you see room for improvement wherever you look. I never knew such reforming zeal.". Lady Isobel Crawley: "I take that as a compliment.". Lady Violet: "I must have said it wrong.". Lady Cora: "Are we to be friends then? Lady Violet: "We are allies, my dear, which can be a good deal more effective.". Lady Violet: "Well give him a date for when Mary is out of mourning. No one wants to kiss a girl in black.". And, the general favorite:.

Erin Loves Brad: February 2015
http://erinboswell.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 19, 2015. For you are dust and to dust you shall return. There really is nothing like experiencing that intentionality and mindfulness together. The services involve times of prayerful repentance, scripture, collective prayers acknowledging our sin. The pastor invites participants forward to receive ashes (in the shape of a cross) on their foreheads, as he reminds us that we "are dust and to dust we shall return." How sobering is that reminder from Genesis? Go back and read the first c...

Erin Loves Brad: March 2015
http://erinboswell.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 26, 2015. Who needs New York? You do not even know all the feelings Brad and I had going on about a week and a half ago while we were in BOSTON. That's right. Brad took me to Boston as a Christmas gift (belated, obviously). It was the best. The. Best. This has led us to question ourselves. Have we become unreasonably awkward? Are we now socially inept? Is the fact that we now know basically nothing about pop culture hurting our chances? We've been struggling, y'all. 4 Church. This was...

grace notes: October 2011
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 7, 2011. When I was younger, I always rolled my eyes at those people that said, "Oh, I love to read, but I just don't have time any more." I thought it was complete hogwash. Being the over-opinionated eleven year old that I was, I would adamantly declare to myself. "I will never be like that. I will always have time to read.". Confession: I have become that person. I made up excuses, of course. Oh, I am reading, really. It's just that I'm reading textbooks instead of actual books. By Bhar...

Erin Loves Brad: Christmas 2014! Tennessee Boswell Edition
http://erinboswell.blogspot.com/2015/01/christmas-2014-tennessee-boswell-edition.html
Thursday, January 8, 2015. Claire's distaste for all things structured or discipline-related aside, we had a fantastic time. We began our visit by going to my father-in-law's community orchestra's Christmas concert, which was lovely. Claire had a few play dates with new friends, Brad and I got to head out for about 24 hours of child-free time (we lived it up by eating out, watching the Survivor. In the back yard (she also enjoyed doing basically whatever she wanted). The Grinch for Christmas Eve. Our men...
