Friday, May 24, 2013. My Little Brother Graduated from College.Say What! Last Friday, Taylor graduated from college! He is now an official Physical Therapy Assistant. I am soooooo excited and happy for him. Taylor is such a special person to me and always has been. My mom always tells us the story about how I prayed for a baby brother every day when I was little. She didn't have the heart to tell me that she and dad didn't plan on having another baby, but God knew better. He is so tender hearted. He ...

The Meadows: The New Normal (Hudson milestones--month 1)
http://stevenandashleymeadows.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-new-normal-hudson-milestones-month-1.html
Thursday, January 15, 2015. The New Normal (Hudson milestones- month 1). On my first day back at church after Hudson's arrival, an older and much wiser lady asked me how I was doing. Of course, I said what all southern women say when they are trying to pretend we have it all together, "Oh, I'm fine. She looked at me in the eyes and said, "Sweetie, you don't have to pretend like you have it all together. I have four kids, and I still remember those first few months after each one was born. The first month...

Monday, January 26, 2015. We had such a wonderful time this year celebrating our Savior's birth. Sawyer is starting to understand things so much more, which made Christmas even more enjoyable! Below, are some highlights from the Christmas season. The ladies from our Young Adult TBC Sunday School Christmas Party (at our house). Meeting Santa and Mrs. Clause (for the record, it was almost 80 degrees that afternoon). Grove Hill Christmas Parade with Addie and Jeston. Visit from Nana B and PawPaw Mike. Sawye...

http://stevenandashleymeadows.blogspot.com/2015/01/playing-catch-up-hudsons-birth-story.html
Thursday, January 15, 2015. Playing Catch Up- Hudson's Birth Story. It has been almost two full years since I have updated the blog, and all I can say is life has been busy. We have experienced a lot of change in the Meadows' home since last I wrote. The biggest change was the birth of our second beautiful baby boy, Bryan Hudson Meadows. He was born on September 11, 2014 at 5:23 PM. He weighed 8.3 pounds and was 21 1/2 inches long. We are all in so in love with him already! Our first look at each other.

The Meadows: July 2013
http://stevenandashleymeadows.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Is there anything more American? This year, we celebrated Independence Day in Madison, Florida with Steven's MawMaw Sidney. We spent the evening eating BBQ and watching the fireworks, which were really great, especially for such a small community. It was so fun to watch the fireworks through Sawyer's eyes. Every time one would go off, he would shout "Whoa! And tell everyone the color of the firework. It was so cute! We had such a great time celebrating America! Links to this post.

The Meadows: November 2012

Thursday, November 29, 2012. Look what Steven got in the mail today for his birthday. Links to this post. Old "You been farmin' long? Poster from Steven's grandmother. The duck painting was done by Steven's grandmother and was also in Steven's childhood room. What southerner doesn't enjoy a good Lynard Skynard quote now and then? This was painted by my dear friend, Emily Buckner, in North Carolina. I love the simplicity of it, which is pretty appropriate considering the quote. Links to this post. She wei...

The Meadows: March 2012
http://stevenandashleymeadows.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 22, 2012. Lots of interesting things happened during Sawyer's 2nd month, but my favorite were his first real smiles. I was and continue to be captivated with this boy's smile and have found myself willing to do just about any silly thing I can to get him to keep smiling. First real big boy smiles :). At his two month checkup, Sawyer weighed 11.9 pounds and was 22 inches long. Month two flew by, but was full of so many great memories! Links to this post. Labels: Sawyers Monthly Updates.

Wednesday, July 27, 2011. I found this "poem" over At the Picket Fence. Vanessa and Heather are sisters who blog together and do a regular Simply Sunday post that I enjoy! This one was so great I just had to share it. I will never have it all together. 8220;Serve the Lord with gladness;. Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God;. It is He who made us, and not we ourselves;. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.”. 8220;A woman who fears the Lord, shall be praised.

Living to Love
Wednesday, March 19, 2014. All Sons and Daughters-Wake Up. Friday, November 16, 2012. Look what I found outside of my house! MI Dios nunca fallará. My God never will fail. As I am experiencing new things and am being placed in areas I never thought I would be, I know that my God knows what He is doing. Everything I do will be used somehow for Him and His kingdom. One of my biggest fears is public speaking and He has given me the ability to stand in front of 30 some kids and teach! I'm in Honduras.fyi.

Living to ... Love!
Living to . Love! Friday, September 13, 2013. Still . Giving God My Very Best! I’ve long realized that I’m a work in progress. Heck, that’s a mantra I live by. “Don’t judge me; I’m a work in progress.”. But then I heard that voice say, “give God. Your very best.” It was here that the conflict began. What did that mean? Hmph, I ALWAYS give God my very best. He knows my heart! I had to shout at this revelation. Then I realized…I’m not alone. The use of the words I. Don't necessarily denote that the writer ...
