Culture Shock Temper Tantrums and Other Expository Prose. It’s a truth universally acknowledged that the sequel to a successful movie is never as good as the first instalment, or it’s even better. Avengers: Age of Ultron. Never mind, it’s all a set up for a spin-off franchise, West Coast Avengers. Here we come. Joss Whedon. Will be remembered better for Buffy. Culture Shock Temper Tantrums and Other Expository Prose. Happy Easter (Please Stop Raining). It had stopped, of course, or a drive into the Blue Mountains for a bit of bush-walking wouldn't have been part of the plan. These aren't Wentworth Falls, just the Empress Cascade, but very pretty, and a nice section of the walk, albeit all uphill and this point. A very nice way to spend Easter. Culture Shock Temper Tantrums and Other Expository Prose. So David Chang, celebrity chef, thinks Australians can’t make a good burger. Except at Mary’s. On the other hand, scientist chef Heston Blumenthal makes an effort: his burger does it all. I watched this episode of his program, and he was even testing the bite radius. O.k., the grinding and patty formation is a little over the top, but we’re talking science! Notice, however, the use of gruyere cheese. How good is that? View my complete profile.

August 28, 2007. Tools I Can’t Work Without. 8212; Hagit @ 10:06 am. Back in 1996, when I started studying translation, I remember asking a friend whether she thought purchasing a computer is an absolute must. Well, I’ve come a long way. By now I have my own computer and even legal software, which was not obvious at the beginning, either. Along the way I’ve acquired some new tools and habits, which today, are as obvious for me as having a computer:. Translation Business Management Tool. August 25, 2007.
