Oli, Rosie and Sid. Friday, October 8, 2010. My blog site has moved on. I've decided to stay at the new site, click here. To check it out. If you want to update your bookmarks, the new address is http:/ ogibbs.tumblr.com/. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Ok not quite a toga party but it looks like hes wearing a toga in this photo. It was very hot today (relatively) at 23 degrees with no wind; Sid even managed a play outside with only a nappy on. Saturday, October 2, 2010. Thighs as big as my arms!

Oli, Rosie & Sid: Spring
http://olivergibbs.blogspot.com/2010/09/spring.html
Oli, Rosie and Sid. Monday, September 27, 2010. We took Sid to Hagley Park today for the obligatory 'baby in the daffodils' photos. We parked by our old house on Bealey Ave and walked to Procope for a coffee first. A lot of the shops around there have been damaged or demolished and it is looking quite different. This church on the corner of Bealey Ave and Victoria St is still off limits. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Step on a crack. Christchurch, New Zealand. View my complete profile.

Oli, Rosie & Sid: February 2010
http://olivergibbs.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Oli, Rosie and Sid. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Coffee roasting, in the traditional city way. Today I had my first go at roasting green coffee beans. I bought Columbian 'Excelso' beans online, and used a hot air popcorn popper to do the roasting. Thank you Julia for the popper, which now has a very short life expectancy since it has oils from the beans through its insides. Strangely enough, green beans smell a bit like a cross between burnt plastic and flaked chillis, so I did the roasting outside.

Oli, Rosie & Sid: August 2010
http://olivergibbs.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Oli, Rosie and Sid. Saturday, August 28, 2010. Realising that the photos of Sid were slowing down, we had a photoshoot on the couch this morning. Enjoying the pram ride. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. So where's my birthday cake? Sid turns four weeks old today. To celebrate we took him for his first car ride. Not so sure about it at first. But he quickly went to sleep, using those chubby cheeks as pillows. Where are my pants? The midwife visited on Monday, he's put on 550g (more than a block of butter!

Oli, Rosie & Sid: March 2010
http://olivergibbs.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Oli, Rosie and Sid. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Not quite as exciting as the baby news but I passed two more checks this week, the one today was the big theory test I was working towards so I'm pleased to have that out of the way as I won't feel like I should be studying on my days off now. We're going out for dinner tonight to celebrate. Just one check at the end of April and I'll be finished the training. At the Riccarton market last weekend. Red and green (the green ones are camouflaged). Saturday was th...

Oli, Rosie and Sid. Saturday, January 30, 2010. I'm not sure who reads this blog anymore but the baby is probably old news for you by now. Since the scan last Monday it's all official, so feel free to tell your friend, neighbour, or sewing circle. Rosie is doing well and is over the worst of the nausea, and looking forwards to finishing work! Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Nothing to see here. I'm at the end of my weekend today at back to work at 5pm tonight. I've spent my days off playing on an exercy...

The swingbridge at Hokitika gorge. More photos are in the album. On the right hand side of this page. West Coast Part 2. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Rosie ...

Oli, Rosie & Sid: May 2010
http://olivergibbs.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Oli, Rosie and Sid. Thursday, May 20, 2010. Last week Rosie while Rosie was away I went on a work trip to see the towers and areas I control. Not a lot of photos as most of the time was spent in bars and cafes but here's some scenery. Mt Maunganui and Tauranga was the first stop - the weather was pants. We had a night in Tauranga where we went out with some of the tower controllers, then drove down through Rotorua (quickly) and on to Taupo for a more quiet night out with the parachute jump guys.

Oli, Rosie & Sid: April 2010
http://olivergibbs.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Oli, Rosie and Sid. Thursday, April 22, 2010. Today I passed my final check to get my licence. I was meant to be doing it next week but as I was ready early they sprung it on me today - probably a good thing as I would have otherwise spent the weekend a bit worried about it. Rosie had some bubbles waiting when I got home! Rosie's doing well and I have felt the baby kicking a few times now. We have the next midwife visit tomorrow and antenatal classes booked in for June. Friday, April 9, 2010. For those o...
