Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Jaren has finally reached the double digits and is 10 years old! We celebrated by eating Trifle (Jaren's choice)with Grandma and Bill. That Trifle has become a family favorite and is so good and addicting. So glad it was gone by the next day. Queen mary, prince william, and lord nelson. Monday, April 20, 2009. I am so excited to actually say that it is done! My friend Heidi and I ran the SLC 1/2 marathon on saturday and lived to say that we finished it! We had a goal to be under 2 hours and we totally conquered it! I seriously can't believe we did it. but it was such a great time.really. the course was awesome, the weather was perfect, and the side lines full of cheering families was very motivating. Never a dull moment! Fourth of July with the kids. So last Friday, Matt, James and I went to the North Texas Irish Festival! It was a lot of fun. As usual we are on a tight budget, so we chose to haul butt up there Friday night after I pulled a 10 hr day at work .but it was a lot of fun! Friday, October 18, 2013. Last Thursday was Barrett's fall break at school, so Matt took off work and we headed over to the Texas State Fair! Caroline was just tall enough to be able to ride some of the rides without an adult, so the two of them were able to ride together. Pure joy captured below.
