I made a charge north (in reality, a steady 60mph under the watchful eye of the new A9 average speed cameras) to Aviemore. When I saw the snowfall after recceing the usual webcams and that the ski trails around Glenmore had been pisted, I knew I had to get up. Saturday, 16 May 2015. Back Early From the 2015 TGO Challenge :-(. Sadly I returned home early from the 2015 yesterday. I had to visit the Doctors in Aviemore on Thursday, my first visit to a docs for over 20 years! He diagnosed a soft tissue infection in my lower left leg, the remedy.a course of antibiotics and at least 48hrs rest. Preferably with my leg elevated! Sunday, 26 April 2015. Winskill and Catrigg Force. This is a great little walk, starting in Langcliffe and ascending to the Winskill Stones before dropping down to Catrigg Force. Then back onto the Pennine Bridleway and down into Stainforth, before crossing the busy B6479. Over Stainforth Bridge and follow the River Ribble downstream to Langcliffe Mill, and back up to Langcliffe. Heres a few pics of today's stroll. The lane leading to the short climb up to Winskill Stones. Stainforth Force and Bridge.

Tuesday, 3 June 2014. Having done a little research it appears my previous running injuries were all "over use" related and possibly, I thought, related to the fit of my footwear. With this in mind I decided to visit the nice people at Run4it. Looking at the construction of the shoes they certainly live up to their inspiring name and I must say my first impressions are very good indeed. It's like they've stolen the best bits from both the XA pro 3d. Compared below with one of my old Speedcrosses in yellow.

It's just not fair to leave them cooped up all day then not give them a chance to stretch their legs later on. We ventured out to the park late in the afternoon. I couldn't be bothered to be honest.
